After 4 years of continuous research, testing and development we took a step back and re evaluated the goals for Mobile's infamous 555 (T5) board range. We may have created the world's best selling kiteboard, but with clearly defined goals in mind there is always room for improvement. Over and over again we came back to the same design parameters...ease of use, comfort and relevant performance.

The first question is always, "What's up with the snowboard outline on a kiteboard?" The answer is simple.
What makes round tips the right shape on a snowboard is the same reason its right for a kiteboard. At the nose, the round tip allows for the cleanest water entry possible without catching, tripping or splashing. At the tail, the round tip focuses the board's power down the centerline, where it is easier to control than at the edge.
The Sol's round outline, which is great for control especially at higher speeds, is combined with an efficient rocker to promote planing in lighter winds.
Unlike other designs, where riders may need to adjust their position to find the board's balance, the Sol's entire board is a sweet-spot. There is no tricky balance required, and no hick-ups. Just smooth edging, through even the worst chop. The Sol is where snowboarding meets wakeboarding.

A new construction core & flex patterns result in a light board with increased strength. Round rails & a concave base ensure smooth bottom turns on the wave with strong edging and solid pop from the water.
Designed with wake style & wave riding in mind the Duraclear non-gloss base ensures that the semi-custom finish will take all the punishment of hitting sliders & launching wake style moves whilst still enabling efficient water flow across the base for maximum performance and a smooth ride. With more volume than other boards of this size on the market the Mauricio-Pro allows you to take a smaller kite for wave riding and wake moves.
Available in 138cm x 40cm for most conditions & riders. The Mauricio-Pro comes equipped with foot pads, straps and kicker proof alloy fins with inserts for riding with bindings as an option.

If you want to ride hard and fast with ultimate performance, the Caliber is calling your name. The 3D bottom shape delivers unbelievable edge control, while the lower rocker line provides quick acceleration and speed.

The NHP XTR (eXTRa range) is all about performance in underpowered conditions. Light wind boards are great for getting on the water in marginal winds, but rarely offer any fun at all as soon as you can comfortably stay upwind. For 2009 we've refined last years EXT model and added to it the benefits of our new Dynamic Asymmetrical Outline, ensuring that the XTR continues to perform in the lightest winds possible. Moreover, it now features enough versatility and "fun factor" to be classified as not only a light wind board, but also a board for heavier riders, and for use when the wind drops, and changing up a kite size is not an option. However, whilst the principal goal remains performance and fun in light winds, the XTR still offers such control and versatility that if the wind does begin to pick up, you may find yourself enjoying riding on it longer than you think!
