AC Generating Sets 3 to 50kVA
Beta Marine Generating Set having Continuous Rated Outputs, and operating at 0.8 PF, 50Hz or 60Hz; designed, built and tested by BETA MARINE Limited.
•Beta Marine Kubota water cooled marine diesel engine, naturally aspirated, rated for continuous operation in accordance with ISO 3046 (BV3300T is turbocharged). An overload of 10% is available for one hour during 12.
•Heat exchanger cooling with fresh water and sea water pumps for boats; water cooled exhaust marine manifold and water injection exhaust bend.
•12 volt electric start system with a combined start, alarm for boats and shutdown module.
•Marine rated marine generator operating at 0.8pf, and 50 Hz, single bearing construction, complete with boat terminal box, automatic voltage regulator, mounted on substantial steel feet with marine failsafe anti-vibration mountings.
•Each generating set is “full load” tested with a 12 months Warranty from date of commissioning.
•Keel/box cooling versions are available
Acoustically Housed Generating Sets - Based upon our Standard Generating set but housed in an Acoustic Boat canopy – the noise level will be less than 60dB(A) sound pressure when measured at 7 metres under “free field” conditions. All generating set connections are brought out of the housing for quick and easy installation.

Beta Marine produce marine generating sets to customer’s specific requirements, including Classification Societies: Lloyds Register of Shipping, Det Norske Veritas, Bureau Veritas, Germanisher Lloyd, ABS etc.
We can offer: Cummins, Caterpillar, Perkins, Volvo, Scania, MAN, MTU marine diesel motors with heat exchanger (or keel or radiator) cooling, coupled to Newage “Stamford” or Mecc Alte marine rated boat alternators.
Beta Marine’s considerable experience in building: Main; Emergency and Boat harbour Generating Sets for different applications: passenger ferries, cargo boats, fast patrol boats, gas carriers, fishing trawlers, tugs and “super yachts” has been used in the development of these generating sets from 30kVA up to 900kVA. We can also supply generating sets in Acoustic housings designed to customer specifications.

The Panda Generator ND version is an ideal solution for those interested in gaining a fair price. The marine generators are identical to the corresponding NE models in respect of all main components, such as motor, generator, sound insulation casing, water-cooling etc. In the case for boats of ND generators, the electronic speed control is not fitted. The voltage tolerance lies therefore within an acceptable range of ±8 %. This is similar to a land
power connection. |

| The Panda generator NE version has been fitted for many years with the tried and tested VCS (Voltage Control System) whereby the motor speed is progressively controlled. This has an enormously positive effect on the exhaust emission and ensures that the generator achieves up to 15 % more effective performance than other non-controlled marine generators. The VCS adjusts the voltage with a tolerance of +/- 3 volts in the range up to 80 % of the nominal performance. An external AC control box contains the VCS and the capacitors which are used for boosting the starting current. This is standard for models from Panda 4500 SCB/FCB and 5000 LPE up to 18NE. |

The Fischer Panda innovative and integrated energy systems provide on-board power for vehicles and marine vessels without the requirement to have a permanently running generator.
