Handling of fluids on bord of ocean vessels is especially important as this has a large influence on the vessel stability. Thus, for all components used the shipping company will usually require the authorisation of a classification society.
The anti-heeling system keeps a vessel in a horizontal position during loading and unloading procedures by means of pumping ballast water from portside to starboard (or vice versa). The virtual control panel contains all necessary displays and operation instruments for the functioning of this. Status indicators and status keys are arranged one upon the other and thus give the impression of illuminated pressure keys through this compact arrangement.

The Blower Anti Heeling System is designed for quick acting heeling compensation of fast and heavy cargo loading processes. The Blower Anti Heeling Systems can be combined with Hoppe Anti Rolling System by using the same U-tank. The heeling compensation is automatically achieved by continual measurement of the heeling angle. Controlled by the AH MIP air is blown into the heeling tank so that the water is pressed to the opposite tank side.

The Anti-Rolling System type MOCON has been developed to reduce the roll motions of vessels at sea. MOCON is based on a U-shape tank system which is equipped with monitoring and control equipment. The tank water oscillation is energised by the roll movement of the ship. The oscillating tank water is counteracting ships roll motion and stabilising the vessel. The efficiency of U-shape tank system is optimised by developed measurement and control technology. The results of data input to system control from monitoring of tank water oscillation and ship roll movement ensures optimised control and best system efficiency. The system is self-controlled including automatic safety procedures in case of malfunctions of components or sea/ship conditions are outside of system working range.

Measurement and Control Technology
The developed control system combines continuously measurement of dynamic tank Level and ships roll movement allows a proportional water flow control. The measurement results are basis for adaptation of tank water oscillation period by tank damping modulation. The dynamic control system ensures a harmonic tank water oscillation and lead so also to a more harmonic roll motion of the vessel.
