June issue calls the T2 "the Ferrari of regulators" as this latest innovation from Atomic Aquatics earns the highest ergo scores of any regulator tested in the last four years.
It's official - the Atomic Aquatics T2 high performance regulator easily leaves the others behind in the recent ScubaLab ratings. Results from the 2005 regulator tests were released in the June issue of Scuba Diving magazine and the T2 received the most "Excellent" scores of any regulator tested. Further, the T2 earned PERFECT scores in breathing simulator tests in every category.
The Atomic Aquatics T2, the next generation of the ground-breaking T1 Titanium regulator, was unveiled with great fanfare at the DEMA Show last October and was released to the Atomic Aquatics dealer network this Spring. Easily the most-anticipated new product of the 2005 dive season, the T2 is available now from Atomic dealers from coast to coast.
"We set out to make the T2 the best regulator in the world - period. Judging by this impressive review, we've obviously succeeded," said Dean Garraffa of Atomic Aquatics. The first stage is beautifully machined from a special grade type 316 stainless steel that is twice the strength of brass with corrosion resistance approaching titanium. This pneumatically balanced, adjustable second stage is sure to provide you the highest performance for many years. The pneumatically balanced second stage provides the lowest possible inhalation effort. The second stage adjustment allows you to adjust your breathing effort, fine-tuning the regulator to your desired setting throughout your dive.
The venturi assist deflector vane directs airflow from the valve directly to the mouthpiece producing a smooth "venturi assisted" inhalation. Turning the venturi assist down, to a pre-dive position, prevents regulator free-flow while on the surface.

Atomic Aquatics introduced the worlds first titanium diving regulators in January of 1997. Titanium is lightweight, strong as steel and immune to seawater corrosion. It is the perfect material for use in the ocean environment and until then, no other manufacturer has been willing to take on this exotic, difficult to fabricate material. Our product features however, go beyond just the materials. We complement the use of titanium with new, innovative designs to enhance performance, reliability and ease of use.
