Ideal for the traveling diver
The NEW BUDDY Tekwing Lite is a compact and lighter version of the Tekwing offering the same spec and options but with a smaller wing.
Key Features and Options:
- The Tekwing Lite provides 17.5kg of buoyancy.
- The new element: backpack and all its advantages of comfort and fit.
- The harness features 2 welded stainless steel D-rings (more may be added) which can be moved to the ideal position. Two further D-rings on the wings allow easy attachment of side-mounted stage cylinders - particularly when used with BUDDY Verti-Clips which hold the D-ring rigid at a right-angle to the jacket for simple one-handed attachment or release of dog-clips.
- Waist-band slots are fitted either side of the wing to prevent 'tank-wrap' when used with a single cylinder. Two-band crotch straps are fitted to eliminate ride-up on inflation of the wing.
- The Tekwing Lite features an over-pressure valve and two dump-valves - one at the kidney and an AP31 dumping elbow at the shoulder which is integral to the corrugated hose/inflator assembly.
- The AP200 power inflator has the same hose connection as the AP400 drysuit inflator and the BUDDY Inspiration diluent inflator. One size fits all. |

"Rear bag" type technical BC vest, joined to the harness using an aluminum backpack. | Our latest creation? The Halcyon Eclipse wing. Think of it as Halcyon's original Pioneer single tanke wing gone to the gym. Halcyon builds the Eclipse's outer shell from 1680-denier ballistic nylon. We then add an inner bladder constructed from the same puncture-resistant 400-denier Nylon inner-bladder material used in the Explorer. In other words, the Eclipse is a low profile, exploration-grade wing that leaves all other single tank designs in its shadow. Streamlined. Ruggedized. Halcyon offers the Explorer wing for double tank diving . The Explorer wings are available in two lift capacities to satisfy various buoyancy requirements, and are able to accommodate a wide range of tank sizes, exposure protection, and equipment requirements. Halcyon explorer wings are available in 40 lbs. (18kg), and 55 lbs. (25kg) lift capacities. We also offer a special version of the Explorer wing modified for use with closed circuit rebreathers. The Explorer CCR-35 provides 35 lbs. (16kg) of lift in a unique delta shape.
