Rondal has a wealth of experience with both standard and customised deck marine equipment. In addition to our famous deck boat blocks, we also design, engineer and produce a wide range of tailor-made deck equipment.
From Genoa fairleads and mainsail travellers to running backstay flying and deck mounted blocks, all serve as examples of customised craftsmanship at its best. And all meet every conceivable function that owners and captains could require.
Our deck equipment is instantly recognisable from its stylish design. This sophisticated nautical look complements the inherent functionality and reliability of the equipment. Safety remains the paramount concern.
Rondal deck blocks are designed with a journal bearing capable of handling the increasing loads on the sheets and halyards of larger sailing yachts. Two different styles are available, with either oval or circular openings in the cheeks of the deck blocks.
BALL BEARING TRACKS:
Are of a hollow section extruded aluminium for lightweight and high load capability. The 'Spectro' grey anodised finish is extremely durable and adds to the friction free performance of these products.
Tracks are available per meter or part, or in set lengths as shown in the marine trackmarine tables below.
The new mainsheet and genoa system in Rutgersons Transatlantic series increases the durability of some of the most exposed parts of a yachts marine equipment.
Good functionality and good design go hand in hand, and this is certainly true of Rutgerson Transatlantic series. The unique construction has also made it possible to reduce the size of the equipment drastically - which has a whole range of benefits, not least a reduced risk of injury to the crew.
A double acting marine hydraulic cylinder with twin rods fitted on a frame, has a complete self contained 1:2 purchase system for traveller cars. The body of the cylinder with integrated purchase sheaves moves while the rods, dead end of lines and respective sailboat oil connections are fixed on the frame. Feeding of the cylinder is achieved trough the rods for a clean and slick system. No moving hoses. Fitting of the system is done by simply fixing the frame, no
extra purchase sheaves and no alignment or reinforcement needed for an easy installation on or under deck.

Drilled track for boats is commonly used and particularly useful where through deck fixing is not possible, such as in doubled skinned boats, where fixing bolts are trapped into a plate in the deck.
