Based on our range of drum winches, these winches have a stainless steel cleat mounted in the top of the drum.
Choose between five different standard base heights, either with an external or an internal flange.
Six sizes of cleat winch are available, ranging from 1500 to 18.000 kg pulling force.

BARTON COMPOSITE WINCHES:
These composite winches are a versatile alternative to more commonplace aluminium versions. They are suitable for a wide range of applications on yachts of all sizes - as primaries for yachts up to 30ft, or as spinnaker sheet and halyard winches on larger yachts. They offer significant cost and weight savings over heavier metal alternatives.
Three models are available - a single speed 8:1 and a two speed 16:1 and 23:1 version.

Easy to use! Simply by grabbing the handle, it can be easily removed from your winch or inserted and locked on. The winch handle has a grab bar running along the full lengthe of its top surface. Grabbing this bar retracts the pins and moves the handle into the unlock position. As easy as that!

Handles are lighter and more rigid than the conventional ones since they are sculpted using alloy stock 6061-t6 in a cold process. The grip may be simple, double or 'ball type'.
