Comet 51 Sport represents the new generation in the Comar production, and her superb and incomparable beauty has quickly become a reference mark.
Designed by Naval Architect Vallicelli the hull of the Comet 51 Sport is modern and elegant, with straight stem, open stern, small overhangs and a maximum beam of 4.7 metres; the innovative coach-roof design has two long, low, fixed hatches on each side, the toe rail is in teak, and everything contributes to enhance the sporting spirit of this boat.
Some features have been especially conceived to improve the racing potential of the 51 Sport: the big “removable” stern locker, practical while cruising, reduces the weight aft while racing. The Harken deck hardware guarantees smooth control line handling. Her 9/10 rigged, aft swept, triple spreader mast for boats, with its low height/weight ratio, adds to her stability.
The racing pedigree of this yatch however, does not affect her cruising potential and the internal layout is light, airy and comfortable. |

It’s the project that signs the completion of the Raised Saloon line of which it maintains the concept. Born from the pencil of Studio Vallicelli, the Comet 52 Raised Saloon is a sail yacht for long distance cruises and dedicated to those who spend a lot of time at sea. A hull built for performance, wide interior spaces, the low profiled deck that characterizes the whole line match with the lightness and strength abilities that make this a yacht for ocean navigation, particularly easy to handle and very seaworthy.
With a completely new layout, interiors offer maximum space and comfort, with solutions normally used in bigger yachts: three cabins, two of them abaft with one head (with double door for boats, one directly into starboard aft cabin); large saloon that can comfortably accommodate all persons on board for boat with dining area, which can offer two extra berths; a separated galley at bow of the saloon, accessible by two steps, with a double-height fridge, double sink, and large stowage spaces. Comfortable owner cabin at bow, with head and shower.
Characterized by refined and warm cherry wood interiors, the Comet 52 Raised Saloon will give great satisfaction also during sailing. |

The Comet 62 Sport’s characteristic is her slender hull line, the coachroof has a volume that leaves wide interior spaces without interfering with the deck, and water lines that guarantee high performance without penalizing the interior living space.
All is studied to underline the sports aspect of this that can also be an excellent cruise boat with determination: the low and rounded deck profile, the lateral fixed recessed windows, the deck level hatches and the teak washboard.
The wide open stern that can be closed with a bench/gangway, a large cockpit with two wide apart wheels and back set boat winches to leave as much visual as possible to the helmsman, characterize the stern area, while under the cockpit seats for boats, the peaks offer a large storage space.
A modern and elegant shape, with straight bow, a long waterline and a maximum beam of 5,20 mts, doesn’t fail to be noticed both during navigation and races.

Designed according to the latest tendencies that enhance the concept according to which lightness is equal to strength, versatility and speed, the Comet 62 RS is born to become, in her class, the most advanced boat built from a female mould available on the world market.
The Comet 62 RS is a boat designed for cruise and race. With her slender hull line, the aspects that guarantee high performance and safety at sea even with a small crew have been privileged.
It’s a fast cruiser, not heavy, very steady at sail and with a good balance between sail area and displacement.
The waterlines have been developed using digital technology simulation programs deriving from research in the racing field. The chosen configuration was born through a long work in which those parameters that guarantee a higher speed and low pitching inertia have been privileged.
A particular attention has been given to his aspect because it results in a better navigation comfort.
The hull structure is in diversified vacuum bagged expanded PVC sandwich, laminated with vinilester resin and unidirectional and biaxial glass tissues and kevlar.
The hull is reinforced by an adequate structure of omega shaped floor frames in the hull and by longitudinal structures |

The Maxi Dolphin 65’ by Luca Brenta represents the latest concept in medium-light displacement yachts, designed for high performance under sail without sacrificing interior space. The accommodation, in fact, includes a large two-berth owner's cabin located forward, an immense open-space saloon amidship - with the galley area in full view - and two aft guest cabins, each with twin berths. All the cabins have their own en-suite bathrooms. Accommodation for two crewmembers is located in the bow. The Maxi Dolphin 65’ by Luca Brenta thus offers both performance and comfort. This difficult to achieve balance is the result of careful research by Luca Brenta & C., which has been used to maximum advantage by the skilled construction work of Maxi Dolphin, combined with an attractive quality/price ratio.

With an upwind sail plan providing 249m2 (2679sqft) combined with a displacement of 23,300kg (51,368lb), the Marten67 delivers an impressive displacement to length Ratio of 102.51. On this base of power, Marten adds state of the art build techniques, innovative hull design by Reichel/Pugh and super light strength materials from SP Systems. The result is a yatch with race performance, that still maintains strong blue water cruising capability.
Every element is engineered to a micro detail. Marten's oven curing systems provide controls that ensure all structural materials perform to their optimum. Technologies such as SP Systems Sprint produces quality in laminates to a level only matched by autoclave cured components. Precision carbon fibre design ensures the strands of fibre run exactly along the load lines for maximum strength. Pre preg carbon fibre and marine foam core construction, engineered into the hull and decks, out-performs any conventionally used material. The continuation of carbon fibre and foam cores in the internal bulkhead construction add to the structural integrity of the hull and deck. The combination of these elements results in a design and build confidence that comes from years of constructing the world's fastest race boats.
With a list of exhilarating features and state of the art construction techniques, the Marten67 will satisfy the most discerning owner.

Performance sailboat cruisers
Why design a Performance Cruiser when you have never received any complain of a Nordia not being fast enough? Well, simply because there is a group of people that prefer a faster lifestyle than the other. The challenge for us was to create a fast performance yacht with razor sharp handling characteristics, without compromising our standards for durability, practicality and comfort. The result is a range of stretched and sleek looking yatchs that clearly display their performance pedigree but instantly recognisable as a Nordia. |

The Young 75 concept was to produce an economical easily driven hull shape that could achieve high average speeds with ease. It also had to be beautiful and easily sailed by 2 people. Stability was enhanced with a canting keel that effectively moved the keel's ballast 45deg to windward with push button ease.
This design was full of design innovations from the thru hull anchoring system, Carbon mainsheet arch/bimini sailboat top wing thru to the retracting/canting keel/rudder system. The Young 75 could reduce draft to a minimal 1.3m allowing passage into shallow draft mooring areas yet still maintain sufficient stability and steerage under power.
The Young 75 has a minimalist exterior appearance, sleek lines and clever detail in all fittings and fixtures. The interior is more traditional with vertical timber panelling, leather and 3 guest cabins. |
