Designed by the Joubert-Nivelt office and better for the experience gained from the 9 other boats of the same type sailing the seas all over the world, the Nautitech/CIM tandam decided to make a few changes to this boat.
So the floats have been widened to offer greater sailing comfort, but also to allow king size berths (2 meters).
In response to our very demanding customers, we have deliberately reducd the number of cabins in favour of space and comfort.

Prout P-85S Sailing Catamaran
The P-85SPD is for the owner who wants space and comfort. Up to 14 guests can enjoy six or seven staterooms. A full beam master suite is available in some configurations, as is a shower/sauna/bath module in the master bath, separate toilet area, and double sinks. Two staterooms can be King size berths, two or three of the others double berths, and one or two bunk berths. There are up to eight bathrooms (including a day head), most of which feature double sinks.

The Yapluka 85’ is a transitional model in the Yapluka Yachts range: in effect, this catamaran is available in the Simple Deck and Double Deck configurations.
Of identical length, these two catamarans offer very different lines and amounts of space. The Yapluka 85’ Simple Deck is a racy yacht with taught and aggressive lines. The measurements of the hulls and the superstructures put together offer a significant height to length ratio, making this multi-hull one of the most elegants in the range.
Sailing catamarans are in essence boats of leisure, pleasure and comfort. This is why the designs of models in the Yapluka Yachts and Blubay Yachts ranges offer so much space inside and out. The cockpit of the Yapluka 85’ is a vast platform on which much sailing equipment and leisure space can be accommodated. Catamarans sail flat, so it is perfectly possible to furnish the entire boat (cabins, nacelle, cockpit, flybridge and front terrace) with furniture from the house. Once again, on this boat, you can experience the same comfort as has long been available on motor yachts.

New face of classical style
The design of 92’ is a combination of owner’s wishes with graceful aesthetics. The classical style with simple shapes gives the impression of harmony and elegance. The change of space organization with accentuation on larger dining and living area, which features a custom-designed dining table that can accommodate up to twelve persons giving them luxury of appreciating the fine dining on board. The interiors gain even more class thanks to clear partition of walls which bords are strongly accentuated by special dark brown elements in wenge.
Large windows give 180 panoramic view, they play a central role in completing the speciousness filling, as well as offering superb water view. For the first time such windows were used in a design of owner’s cabin.

Yachts Industries is making a stir in 2008 with the launch of two Blubay 95' catamarans several months apart. In effect, this is the first time that a shipyard has launched two catamarans of this size.
The first sea trials which took place in July exceeded all expectations, as the sailing performance of the Blubay 95' is so amazing: over 13.5 knots for winds speeds of between 16 and 17 knots. This first Blubay 95' has also reached the speed of 14 knots using the engine. Therefore, the design of the hulls is an undeniable success.

The design and construction of such structures are real feats. Everything has to be proportioned to cope with the enormous tension which, considering the area of sail, demands much from the rigging in particular.

This Yapluka 120' Double Deck is the size of catamaran on which it is quite envisageable to have ketch rigging which gives more power to and control of the boat. In order to manoeuvre a sailing boat easily, it is preferable for most of the sail surface to be low in the rigging. The strain with such a configuration is thus well spread out over the entire length of the boat. This is an example of the services provided by the Yachts Industries Research Department: the type of rigging and layout of the sails are always subjects discussed with clients.
