We can deliver all our engines as a compleat engine/sterndrive Mercruiser X diesel package, that includes all hydraulics, extension harness, instrumentpanel, bellhousing, coupler, engine mounts, ownersmanual, etc.

The D6-280s large displacement and the latest technology throughout give exceptional performance combined with low fuel consumption and emission levels that complies with emission requirements introduced in the EU and USA from 2006. The engine has common rail fuel injection system, double overhead camshafts, 4 valves per cylinder, turbocharger and aftercooler. Together with a large swept volume and the EVC system (Electronic Vessel Control), this results in world-class diesel performance, combined with low emissions.

The 6.8L six-cylinder engine is offered as either a propulsion or gen drive engine in either keel cooled or heat exchanger configurations. The engines are either turbocharged, non-aftercooled, turbocharged with jacket water aftercooling or turbocharged with sea water aftercooling. The propulsion engines feature constant power to 400 rpm below rated speed, making these engines an excellent choice for launches, work boats, trawler yachts, and patrol craft.
