HIGHLAND 35 Pilot, a fuel-efficient, offshore power catamaran
40% reduction in fuel consumption: to reach the same speed as the HIGHLAND 35 Pilot with its 75hp motors, a single-hull boat of the same size would need engines twice as large.
NO ROLLING when anchored or while cruising
The HIGHLAND 35 is a trawler catamaran. This means greater stability, improved safety and a longer range, with excellent performance at sea.
The HIGHLAND 35 remains stable, affording great comfort on the fly-bridge and inside.
Two engines mean easy manoeuvring and twice the safety.
The two versions allow you to choose the ideal passageway layout for your travels.
The Trio features a separate, master stateroom in the starboard hull, cupboards and shelves and a lavatory, while the portside hull contains two guest cabins.
The Duo has a double cabin in each hull, along with separate lavatories and storage space.

Inspirated from the PRIVILEGE style, from space and sturdiness from , the new year model looks attractive :
The teak cockpit is huge and two stairs (including one at the rear) give access to the flying bridge : a kitchenette with grill completes the salon area shields from prying eyes and some sunbathing matresses equip this amazing surface …
The interior is in the image of the style PRIVILEGE : light wood, round shape, the salon separated from the galley by an esthetical bar, the tv/entertainement area incorporated to the helmseat make this yacht generous ….
With a reasonable consumption, she will bring you far away (over 1000NM) and in complete security ; she is well at sea especially in bad weather, and at moorings, the two hulls offer an inequalled comfort and stability …

The Prout G50 achieves the strength essential in catamaran design by bonding the bulkheads into a one piece hull molding to form deep box sections and then by bonding the one piece deck molding to the hull and bulkheads to create a monocoque shell system. The hull has integrated longitudinal and transverse mini-nacelles designed specifically to increase stiffness. The bulkheads are strategically located to absorb torsion and compression loads inherent in a catamaran's structure. The main support bulkhead is mounted on a stringer to help transmit the loads away from the bridge deck. The hulls are hand laid with isophathalic resin to German Lloyds specifications. The first layers use powder bound mat and vinylester resin to minimize risk of osmosis. The hull is cored above the waterline with end grain balsa core. The deck is molded using similar techniques of end grain balsa core reinforced at high stress areas with uni directional and double bias cloth. All bulkheads and cabin soles are made of balsa, foam or Nida-Core laminate. Watertight bulkheads fore and aft add buoyancy and security in the event of collision and ensure the watertight integrity of the boat.
