Hydrographic Vessel
This 43-meter vessel's duties will include all kind of hydrographic measurements and inspection the seabed in the coastal water of the North and Baltic Seas. Germany's navigation and hydrography authorities will use the data collected to produce and correct nautical charts. This vessel is also suitable for operation in shallow waters directly off the coast. In addition, it is equipped with two 8-meter Fassmer survey boats with a single lifting point. Special davits with swell compensators guarantee safe boat handling even in bad weather. All measurement instrumentation and electronic equipment features state-of-the-art technology.

The seismic research vessel delivered in June 1999 for Aker Geo has been designed as a geophysical survey vessel for unrestricted service. The vessel is purpose built for demanding seismic survey, with accommodations forward, engine room amidship, diesel electric propulsion system and seismic areas and helideck in the aft part. The seismic areas are equipped with hydraulically powered winches and auxiliary equipment, a control room and a workshop. The survey capacity is enhanced by a stern arrangement for operating the streamer cables.

ULSTEIN SX124 is a state-of-the-art seismic research vessel designed to fulfil the demands of the seismic offshore industry. The hull with the ULSTEIN X-BOW® combined with diesel-electric propulsion system ensures excellent performances with regards to fuel consumption, sea-keeping and speed. The vessel accommodates 10 streamer winches and first class facilities for data acquisition and processing.
