The output of SailPack is a list of sail panels for boats and reinforcement panels which is exported using specialized software: MIB2000
Through MIB2000 the designer is able to modify (flip, rename, rotate, split) each individual panel as necessary. MIB2000 is able to export in all major plotter formats or exchange formats such as HPGL or DXF. |

The goal of the SailPack software is to simplify and reduce the time requirement of sail design and production.
Through the use of SailPack the user is able to create a realistic simulation of any number of possible rigging configurations (mast for boats, pole, gaff, etc.). SailPack then builds on the position of deck fittings, including track and marine blocks, as specific to the yacht.
With SailPack the designer will be able to recreate and duplicate a realistic sail plan, specific to the hardware and rigging of the yacht. The designer can visualize any potential conflict or incompatibility between sail placement and rigging setup, allowing for modification and optimization of final sail geometry.
In addition the sail designer can "hoist" and view a complete sail inventory.

Boltek's StormTracker uses state-of-the-art technology to make real-time lightning detection affordable. How does the StormTracker work? The StormTracker is an add-on to your IBM PC or compatible boat computer allowing you to not only tell if lightning is near but see where it is. StormTracker detects lightning strikes up to 300 miles away and plots them in real time on a map of your area.
With StormTracker you are actually detecting the lightning strikes themselves. There are no on-line or recurring charges of any kind. StormTracker has two built-in boat alarms. The Close Storm Alarm will activate if a thunderstorm is detected closer than a preset distance. The Severe Storm Alarm activates if the number of lightning strikes per minute exceeds a preset limit.

The data can be as small as 3 k compressed and is simple to download via a wireless link for boats. These files are commonly referred to as GRIB files. They are primarily used to disseminate output data from very complex computer models of the world's weather.
