There is a Phenomenon called "northerly turning error" that causes marine autopilot performance to degrade. This error causes the autopilot to have difficulties keeping on course when steering in a northerly or southerly direction. ComNav is now offering its Rate Stabilizer to correct this error.
This plug-in addition to an existing ComNav fluxgate compass also greatly improves the high-speed performance of the autopilot. The Rate Stabilizer corrects these errors by using "vibrating gyro technology."
|
|
Designed for powerboats, the GEONAV AP401 is simple to use and install. Automatic compensation of the electronic compass is made by a simple 360° rotation of the boat, while the correction of tidal and wind drift is automatic.
Two NMEA 0183 inputs (NAV1-NAV2 or Wind) are available to connect simultaneously a chart plotter and wind instruments while an NMEA 2000 output is operative with an expansion card.
An auto-diagnostic system continually checks the electronics and an automatic compensating fluxgate makes it possible to navigate as close as possible to the data supplied by the main compass.
When connected to wind instruments, the GEONAV AP401 is designed to follow lay lines automatically and compensates for windspeed angle changes.
|
|
A "must" for everyone, who desires a powerful, technically advanced autopilot offering the highest possible performance.
Featuring the same characteristics as the GEONAV AP401, this autopilot also offers the possibility to store more operating parameters and to recall them simply by pressing one key only.
Again, with a simple command it is possible to invert the route with 180°,360°, or 2 x360° turn. The GEONAV AP801 is the ideal choice for fishing boats and large vessels.

A quick, positive, visual indication of rudder angle can be very important when docking or maneuvering a boat in tight quarters. It can save not only your gel coat but your pride. The SI-TEX SRA-1 Rudder Angle Indicator gives you a precise look at exactly where your rudder is positioned.
An easy-to-read 3-1/8" diameter analog faceplate displays, in high resolution, the rudder position from zero through fifty degrees to either port or starboard. High visibility white characters and scale registrations, along with red and green directional markings stand out from a black background. Where many other analog rudder angle indicators have a pointer at the twelve o'clock position on the dial, the SRA-1's zero position is at six o'clock. This configuration has the advantage of being more intuitive. The indicator moves in exactly the same way as the rudder relative to the boat.
The SRA-1 is designed for use with the SI-TEX SP-70 and SP-80 Autopilots, as well as others equipped with a rudder feedback transducer and an output connector for a rudder angle indicator. It will fit a standard 3-3/8" circular instrument cutout in a dash, or it can be mounted in an optional watertight ABS plastic case. Up to five SRA-1 units can be connected to a single SI-TEX autopilot.

The rugged CPT is a cost effective crew member that steers your vessel so that you can take your hands off the wheel, whether motoring or sailing. This cockpit wheel pilot is easy to install and operate.
Strong and Dependable
The CPT is constructed ruggedly for a long life in the marine environment. It uses a gimballed optical compass, capable of operating at up to 45 degrees of tilt with no loss in accuracy. The CPT sensor responds quickly and works reliably in the cockpit.
The strength of the CPT comes from the size of its motor and gearing. The robust motor of the CPT produces high torque and rpm at the wheel, allowing it to respond fast with torque to spare. Because of the speed of its motor, the CPT can handle large boats with hydraulic steering, which can have many turns lock to lock.

The S1 Wheel Pilot is the successor to the popular ST4000 Plus Wheel drive system. The new S1 system uses the versatile ST6002 control head combined with the S1 SmartPilot course computer for maximum performance. Permanently installed and fully enclosed, this is a drive system that delivers the convenience and performance of an inboard autopilot. Gone are the obstructive and untidy belts and wires of conventional wheel autopilots.
The S1 Wheel pilot system is a patented solution that gives you a wheel drive that you can engage or disengage at the kick of a lever. A rear-mounted plug enables the drive unit to be detached for service or security reasons, without disturbing the wiring harness.
