Nowadays, digital terrestrial television has been become the new standard in many countries. The digital terrestrial standard DVBT allows to receive by a decoder(not supplied), with the same high definition as on the digital satellite TV, many of free on air channels and someone%u2019s on the pay per view base, thanks to a rechargeable card. Polaris is able to receive both vertical and horizontal polarized TV signals thanks to the efficacy of its directive antenna element.
The 60° (max gain) directional reception angle, avoid all the interferences coming from the reflected signals, for example sailboat masts, cranes, buildings etc. in the area. The electric orientation of the antenna through its remote control allow to perform 6 dB gain (about 3 times more gain than an omnidirectional antenna) and also to still have 0 dB gain on a 220° angle (same typical gain of an omnidirectional) without any interference and ensuring a clear and continuous vision of preferred TV programs. It comes with two amplifiers -one internal and one external for enhanced performances, both having low noise factor and the bypass so in a area where the DVBt signal is very strong like a town, frequently an amplified signal cannot be received on digital TV as it is deteriorated from the amplification and to reduce the amplifer gain to solve the problem isnt enough. The exclusive Glomex amplifier bypass allow to switch the antenna signal on TV set without any passage through the amplifier to get crispy digital image on the screen.

The dynamic company of Ravenna has recently introduced into the market the new RA201 splitter, thanks to which it is possible to use just one VHF antenna to simultaneously receive the AM/FM and AIS radio signals; furthermore, the VHF transceiver can also be used. It is a compact component, easy to install in any place, requiring only a 12V power supply, from which a maximum of 25 mA is drawn, a negligible current draw. It is provided with a coaxial input for the antenna and three outputs for VHF, AM/FM radio and AIS. Equipped with a built-in preamplifier, it ensures the usual performance of the VHF antenna installed onboard, allowing it to be used for multiple applications. This means a simpler and less expensive system. The GEONAV GP-04 antenna, thanks to the WAAS-EGNOS 20-parallel-channel receiver and the SIRF STAR III module, guarantees the best signal reception in any weather condition.
It is equipped with an external watertight connector that offers double installation or the possibility to remove it when not in use.
