Selected electronic components, from the full milled aluminum front bezel, galvanic treated housing, are only some of the highlights of this new product family. The modular cabinet concept allows a wide spectrum of configuration possibilities. As standard we offer aluminum front bezels with black finish (RAL 9005). The LCD Panel are protected with a 3 mm coated mineral glass pane. Front handles, buzzer or touch screen are available options.
The aluminum chassis are available with an integrated universal power supply or with integrated wide-range DC/DC converter modules. The power and interface connectors are mechanically protected.

HERNIS delivers a wide variety of monitors and display units. Each item carefully selected to suite the customers demand and the area of location.
The display units varies from the very functional "normal" monitor unit to flat screen LCD monitors all delivered according to customer requirement. The display resolution on the units are depending upon display type. All units can be supplied in PAL or NTSC format. HERNIS' staff are thoroughly trained to give advice and help the customer select the correct display unit for any area of the installation.

KEP Marine’s KEPM GB are designed with the same technology and features as our KEPM displays but with a special mounting option. The KEPM GB glass bridge displays allow maximum screen size in the smallest spaces available. They are ideal for helms with limited space and can be mounted side by side to save even more precious space. Display adjustments and settings are controlled using a remote unit which can be mounted near the display or hidden in the cabin space. All KEP Marine monitors can communicate with RS-232 control systems such as Crestron and AMX.

The MT 223 NAV LCD monitor is designed for navigation tasks. A 23-inch TFT screen is used for the optimal display of both electronic nautical charts and RADAR images. In order to meet these special requirements it is equipped with an anti-reflection glass pane.

The panel PCs of the EPC PM Nautic series are equipped with a 1.3-MHz Celeron M CPU as standard. A 1.8-GHz Pentium M CPU is available as an option. Windows XPe or Windows 2000MUI or Windows XP Professional is pre-installed as the operating system. The PCs are suitable for demanding visualization tasks where high performance levels are required. They are optimized for marine applications and have all relevant approvals for shipboard use. They feature, among other things, the following interfaces: 2x Ethernet, 2x CompactFlash, 2x PCI.

HERNIS has also developed several Exp enclosures in which 10", 14" and 20" LCD screens are used. The display resolution on all units are depending upon display type.
