Houseboat Floats and Platforms
Large or specialized floats and platforms are easy to design and fabricate using Topper Floats.
Topper has developed a rubber log made of our famous Topper Floats. The individual tire floats are assembled side by side into a "log" with galvanized hardware and pressure treated timbers.
The ends of each log are capped with thick galvanized steel plates virtually sealing the foam interior from marine life, ducks, or rodents.
With a high flotation capability of 200 lbs. per linear foot, the 30-inch diameter logs provide maximum flotation, extremely low maintenance and long life at low cost.
Topper Logs have been used successfully as direct replacements for wooden logs, metal pontoons, and unsightly blocks of foam.

Obtaining high buoyancy and being able to offer a range of variable configurations was a paramount objective whilst designing the Xrosswater® product. With lightweight structural strength aluminum extrusions attaching the thermoformed floatation units and creating the inherent backbone to the system, the product offers a universal solution to your requirements. Further information should be obtained prior to ordering large platforms, as wave motion, anchoring and weight displacement factors need to considered, together with the use of additional cross-bracing to strengthen against wave roll.

Marinetek House pontoons can be used to build floating service buildings in marinas and, as the name suggests, for the construction of permanent homes for year-round use.
Standard House pontoons have two Heavy Duty floats, fixed sideways and anchored either by Seaflex, chain or piles. 18 different sizes are produced as standard including two freeboard options (HP and HPH).

FLOATING PLATFORM
Martini Marinas floting rafts are suitable for public use, one module or multiple modules, equipped with ladders.
The Similteck resin staves are brown and dark brown colour , anti-slip, UV resistant, anti-mycotical, no splinters, no special maintenance required, similar to natural wood, with a series of unequal veins, created on purpose by a special moulding process. The Similteck staves are injection moulded and have a radiating section that dissipates the accumulated heat under the solar radiation, whilst others extruded plastic staves available on the market have full section, and become very hot when exposed to the sun in the summery months.
- Synthetic resin for plastic floats, filled by expanded self-extinguishing closed cell polystyrene; floats are acid-proof, resistant against the sea agents and UV stabilised.
- Anticorrosive aluminium alloy for the floats supports, constantly in touch with water.
- Hot dip zinc-plated steel frame. This material grants the necessary mechanical resistance to the wave-motion and to the boats random actions. Moreover Martini Marinas has checked its resistance against the corrosion.
The design of the Martini Marinas floating platform is in harmony with the marine environment where they are installed.

In 2007, our company projected and built these "monsters" with the capacity to face the most adverse meteo-marine conditions without any difficulty.
