If you have transient boat slips, Eaton Corporation-Marina Power and Lighting has developed their newest product for your situation.
The new "Smart Start" pedestal is activated by the swipe of a credit card. A kiosk will be centrally located at the marina and will control up to 32 power pedestals. When a boater wants to use a slip, they will enter the slip number and amount of time they would like and will then be asked to swipe a card in order to activate the pedestal. Once the chosen time is up, the pedestal will shut down. No more free power!
The "Smart Start" pedestal will not only prevent transient boaters from stealing power, but it will also eliminate the need for 24 hour monitoring of the slips. Boaters will be able to come in at any time of the day and activate a pedestal.

Card Meters are one option for the marina operator to recover money for electricity consumed in 'pre-pay' rather than credit format. The reconditioned Card Meters are accessed through customer reset flaps. A card is purchased with a pre-determined value loaded onto it which, when inserted into the meter, loads that value onto the meter. The meter then counts down the pre-loaded value until it is consumed. An emergency credit value of £1.00 is available on each meter. Alterations to the tariff / emergency credit value can be made by the use of a Meterman card.

The new Terminal Free Time, designed and developed by Coelin with a particular focus on design and the use of ultramodern technologies, is an energy terminal that can be used in various sectors to meet the requirements of campsites, marinas and public areas in general, distributing and controlling energy services such as electricity, water, compressed air, telephone, TV, intercom, etc.
The simple and refined design combines harmoniously with the environment, becoming an integral part of the surrounding landscape.
All the functions attributed to this terminal, both as a service provider and as a device for illuminating the surrounding area (a real innovation) give this product its own special personality.
The Terminal Free Time structure, designed for heavy-duty service, is built with a double-faced one-piece casing that is shockproof and offers superior stability.
This energy terminal is manufactured with materials that offer the highest resistance against chemical and atmospheric agents, salinity and UV radiation.
Since there are no metallic parts, the terminal offers enhanced insulation and will not rust.
The Terminal Free Time can be supplied in different colours that are created during production.

Quality in every detail
TallyKey's pedestals are made exclusively of quality materials, ensuring a long working life.
The pedestal itself is made of aluminium, while bolts, shafts and screws are in stainless steel.
If the pedestal has a lamp in the top, the "glass" is made of impact-resistant plastic.
The TallyKey T2 pedestal is thus strongly equipped to survive many years of outdoor use, even in the harsh and aggressive environment at a harbour.
A carefully thought-out detail is the special safety washers with which the base is mounted. If a pedestal is bumped or a boat departs from land and has forgotten to uncouple from the pedestal, the safety washers are broken first - the pedestal itself suffers no damage and it can be remounted immediately with new safety washers.
Flexible and rational production
TallyKey pedestals are not mass produced, but made to customer specifications for every installation. The construction itself was nevertheless developed for rational mass production and it therefore offers the market's best combination of quality, durability and price.
The slender design speaks for itself and actively contributes to guests' positive impression of your harbour or camping site.
The T2 pedestal is available in two heights: 83 and 113 cm (with lamp: + 17 cm).
The higher pedestal was specially developed for camping sites, where it complies with European standards which require, among other things, 80 cm from the ground to the bottom power socket.
