Our boxes offer precision tooling and quality craftsmanship. Construction is of hand laminated fiberglass finished in high gloss white gel coat. Lids are heavily reinforced to support 400 lb. of weight and to accommodate seating. Mounting areas are reinforced to provide additional strength when securing to boat decks or docks. All hardware is stainless steel and through screwed, no pop rivets are ever used.

Breathe new life into tire breakwaters with cylindrical floats. Build low maintenance barriers and booms. Replace old raw foam flotation with environmentally safe encapsulated foam-filled floats. Through out those leaking drums and strap on new 30+ year life cylindrical floats.
The breakwater floats have a one-piece LLPDE shell that is filled with EPS foam. The fill is done under steam to ensure a void-free watertight fill. The shell outer wall thickness is a nominal 0.150" for durability and long life. The outer shell is virtually impervious to oil, gas, animal damage and impacts.

TallyCard is a robust payment system based on wireless transponder cards without vulnerable contacts or magnetic stripes.
The TallyCard system is very simple to use - there are no buttons or complicated operation and the amount in the card is always
shown in the card reader's display. The guest can accurately check his or her consumption, and will therefore not receive any
unpleasant surprises.
The TallyCard is an obvious supplement to our TallyKey supply pedestals, but it can also be used for e.g. payment for bathing and washing and for access control (e.g. as an electronic door key for hotel rooms, cabins or holiday cottages).
A user-friendly program is used to add the amount to be spent together with information on access on to the card, easily and quickly. All changes of times and prices are also made with the program.
The TallyCard system is decentralised - no sensitive data cables have to be ducted to the card readers!

MOORING SYSTEMS - “UP AND DOWN” SELF-BEARING SLIDING DEVICE
The system is designed and manufactured for the installation of floating modules or jetties in places where both high water level variation occurs and the jetties are required to be installed alongside next to the quay.
The device is made of a corbel shaped electro-welded hot dip galvanised steel frame, equipped with polyamide rollers to ensure easy movement along a guide rail vertically fixed to the quay.
Floating modules are fixed on the sliding frame, thus allowing large upwards and downwards movements of the pontoon according to the water level variation.
Screws and nuts are made of stainless steel.

MOORING SYSTEMS - SPACING RODS
The system is designed and manufactured for the mooring of individual floating modules or jetties, when they have to be installed alongside the shore or the quay.
The device is made of pipes equipped with joint knees at both ends, for the fixation respectively to the quay and to the module.
Wind-braces, made of chains and eye-tensors fixed to the ends of the rods, prevent the floating module from horizontal movements.
All the steel components are hot dip galvanised; stainless steel screws and nuts.
Gangway with handrails normally provides the access to the jetty.

Derived from feedback from operators, Xrosswater® has utilised the most appropriate fastening components that offer the best performance under the most demanding conditions including a broad spectrum of temperatures, the effects of oils, chemical, cyanide, water, UV and the mechanical compositions of the material.
From the results of numerous tests, we identified the appropriate material to produce a hinge that would offer supreme performance whether the product is located in the open sea or in relatively calm inland waterways, reservoirs or rivers.
A connector that can flex multi-directional when under severe load and in doing so offers elasticity to the rigidity of a long walkway, yet maintaining a stable surface whilst loads are being transferred along the walkway.

These fish tables are constructed with high quality materials. The cleaning surface is made with 1/2" or 3/4" King Starboard High Density Polyethylene (HDPE), an FDA approved cleaning surface. There are no cracks or crevices for bacteria to build up in. The framework is made of T6061 marine grade aluminum and TIG welded for strength and a clean finish. All fasteners are 316 grade stainless steel.
The 2-Leg table projects out from the dock and mounts to the dock's substructure, taking up no dock space. Each leg comes with its own mounting bracket (vertical) and flange (horizontal), offering good stability.
Options include powder coating, knife rack, water bib and hose holder, enclosed base, and sink and faucet. Available surface sizes are 18" x 38" and 24" x 48" to 120" (in 24" increments).

Rotational Molded from high density black virgin polyethylene with UV inhibitors ensures the most rugged float possible. Wall thickness minimum of 5/16" and up to 1/2" at fastening points and corner edges. Extremely strong resistance to splits and punctures.
Howell 550
Recessed flanges and center channel allow this versatile float to be used on standard 2' or 4' centers. Using standard 2" x 6" lumber the surface for the dock will be situated about 14" above the water. (based on 25 lbs. flotation /sq. ft. of dock). Use 8", 10" or 12" to increase freeboard.
1" Drainage plug with sloped channel to elimate water accumulation around the plug. Add water for ballast or to achieve neutral bouyancy when retrofitting old docks. Pump water out after positioning the float.
Recessed Corners for clearance of most hardware and nut and bolt heads. This reduces the chance of rub through allowing the float to be positioned tightly into the corners and flush wih edges for maximum stability.
Flotational Capacity of the Howell 550 is 550lbs. Measures: 24" x48" x16" high and a tare weight of 40 lbs. Can be shipped UPS or up to 10 floats per standard skid.
Howell 400
Flotational capacity for the Howell 400 is 400 lbs. Measures: 24" x48" x12" high and a tare weight of 28 lbs. Can be shipped UPS or up to 12 floats per standard skid.
Foamed Filled Floats - Howell 400 is available foam filled for commercial use and applications that do not require water for ballast.

Floats can be manufactured of polyethylene or concrete. Concrete floats provide a more stable platform while the plastic floats have a higher buoyancy to weight factor. Both types are designed for maximum life and environmental safety.

The 2000 Litre Flotation Module was computer designed for commercial applications and large residential docks. The modules are instrisically very stable and have inbuilt horizontal lugs for assembly to framework with stainless steel nuts and bolts

The structural integrity and performance of flotation is compromised when resins or foam containing regrind materials or any off-spec materials are used. A float made with these less expensive materials often fails basic structural integrity tests such as the ASTM D1998-04 Falling Dart Test and the 7-Day Hunt Water Absorption Test.

The concrete float comprises expanded polystyrene protected by 25mm glass fibre reinforced concrete - it is tough, durable and maintenance free.
We make our own floats in moulds which ensures a smooth surface - four fixing bolts are cast into the top surface. This form of construction ensures permanent floatation, as the core material is a closed cell, absorbing water up to a maximum of 5% by volume.

In some circumstances, additional ballast may be required to assist in the performance of the structure, and to fulfill this we suggest the use of sand bags that travel the full internal length of the float unit rather than uncontrollable sloshing water. It should be noted that momentum will increase significantly should the structure be able to move and the appropriate anchoring to match such condition should be chosen.
