CALIPSO
This is the new INMARE design of a protection system for anchor windlasses.
It avoids any anchor traction loads on the windlass.
It provides protection for the anchorage.
Refined with a hand-made splice, it is equipped with a 14 mm polyester line, an outstanding shock absorber and a hook that can be installed on 6-12 mm chains.
|
|
A yacht should never be underway without the anchor tightly stowed and a windlass should only be used for lowering and raising the chain and anchor. A device other than the windlass is therefore required to hold the anchor snug when it is stowed.
Boat designers and builders also asked if Maxwell could incorporate a tensioning device into the chain stopper and the Roller-Stopper units. Thus were born the Stopper-Tensioner and Roller-Stopper-Tensioner units. The RST became an instant success giving the boat builder a unit that he could simply bolt to the deck in front of the windlass and have a completely integrated system allowing safe and easy handling of anchor deployment and retrieval with any side pocket anchor installation.

The practical alternative to marine railways, davits and lifts, these fiberglass Mooring Whips are exceptionally strong, attractive and do not obstruct your waterfront view.
Each Whip mounts with a durable cast aluminum base with built-in cleat. These quality Mooring Whips act as a spring to maintain your boat at a safe convenient distance away from your dock to prevent impacts caused by waves or the wakes of other passing watercraft. Complete with double braided nylon whip lines, spring lines, and stainless steel mounting hardware. Some mooring areas may be too rough for any type of tie-up system. Weight is more critical than boat length when selecting the correct size of whip.

SAFELY TOW PWCS, DINGHIES, OR TENDERS.
Mooring Products International Towing Whips are the very best answer when it comes to towing smaller craft behind a larger vessel like a yacht, sailboat or houseboat.
The Towing Whips take the guesswork out of securing tenders, inflatables and PWCs.
The system consists of a stainless steel flush-mount base which is attached to the transom or swim platform and holds the solid, flexible fiberglass whip with roller tip. A line at the whip's end connects to the towed vessel's transom keeping it away from the larger vessel. Another line, at the whip's base, affixes to the front of the PWC applying tension to the whip and securing it at a safe distance from the tow boat.
OVER 40,000 SYSTEMS HAVE BEEN INSTALLED
Numerous respected boat builders install the Boat Mounted Mooring Whip System from Mooring Products International. Among them are: Abeking & Rasmussen, Broward Marine, Burger Boat Company, Hakvoort Shipyards and Skipperliner Industries.
Towing Whips can be installed in about 30 minutes with common household tools.
Each kit comes with everything you need for a complete installation:
