Stockdorf/Munich. – For perfect adaptation to a boat’s design, Webasto, the leading supplier for comfort solutions on the move, has further developed its Marine sliding roof range with a flush-integrated version of its Hollandia Marine SR1.
“The Hollandia Marine SR 1 roof differentiates itself from other roofs on the market due to its high quality and great flexibility concerning size, curvature and material”, says Martin de Waal, Director Product Services of Webasto Product International NL. “The Hollandia Marine SR1 was especially designed for the extreme marine conditions such as salt and sand impacts. And it is the only true water tight roof on the market, so there is no need for a drainage system. However, we also got the requests for a flush-integrated version that allows a bigger flexibility in the design of the boat. Now our customers have the choice.”
The flush integration provides the opportunity to bring the deck at the same level as the sliding panel. Furthermore, the rear rails are located completely to the side of the roof. Last but not least, with the flush-integration, Webasto offers a smooth automotive style mechanism.
Webasto also offers completely customised roof projects, which are called Marine Engineering Services. A newly developed brochure gives interested shipyards and naval architects an insight on what is possible to do in the cooperation with the supplier Webasto.
Webasto has been manufacturing premium quality roofs for the automotive industry for over 50 years. Now we have brought this competence into the marine market.
The Hollandia Marine sliding roof is one of the largest roof systems on the market and differentiates itself due to its flexibility.
