The Diesel Unit

GLB crane - Bulk handling crane:

GLB electro-hydraulic deck cranes are designed for bulk carriers. We focused on giving the GLB a robust design, and excellent control and operational properties. The range covers lifting capacities from 25 to 36 tonnes, with 18-30 m outreaches. GLB cranes are built from modules, and are easy to maintain and install.
General design:
GLB cranes are designed to meet the rules of all recognised classification societies and regulatory bodies. They are designed to work in the tough conditions that go with grab and log handling. The cranes have a stepless control system, and hoisting, luffing and slewing motions are independent of each other. This means that at their maximum capacity GLB cranes can operate at full speed using all three movements at the same time. These cranes can be supplied with the tools needed for handling particular cargoes.

The cranes are designed for a temperature range from +45°C to the lowest ambient working temperature for worldwide trading according to classification societies%u2019 requirements. To further improve outreach, cycle time and positioning performance the crane can be installed on an eccentric plattform.

K4 cranes are designed to meet the rules of all recognised classification societies and regulatory bodies. MacGREGOR´s CC2000 system ensures smooth, fast and stepless crane control. Hoisting, luffing and slewing motions are independent of each other. This means that at their maximum capacity K4 cranes can operate at full speed using all three movements at the same time. The produced by Towimor wire luffing cargo cranes of various type are universal cranes designed for handling of various type of cargo transported on board the vessels. The cranes can be adapted for operation with grab, spreader and swivel. As a standard cargo cranes with hoisting capacity of 25-45 tons are available.
