Dust Suppressor Head (RGLZ):
- Application: Dust-suppressed loading of grain, oilseeds and derivatives into vessels
- Throughput: Four sizes ranging from 450 bis 2000 t/h
- Customer value: Dust-suppressed loading into vessels
- Design: Weight controlled material consisting of weigh hopper and cone valve
- Process: The dust suppressor head is jointed at the end of the loading spout. The head regulates the material throughput so, that there is always a material backup in the weighing hopper of the unit. This prevents the material from being discharged at high speed from the spout, preventing generation of dust.
- Equipment: With dead box for slowing down the material flow for reducing fall energy; With weighing hopper and cone valve; With geared motors for the variation of the material backup and for the release of grain residue in the weighing hopper
- Installation: Pin-jointed or straight to the end of the telescopic loading spout

The Metso Minerals ship trimmer are made in several styles and sizes. The three most common types in use are cable-supported, boom-mounted and hatch-type, although special trimmers can be built to suit any feasible situation.
Cable-supported ship trimmers are typically used when loading materials that are dustless enough to permit an operator to remain in the hold. Boom-mounted ship trimmers with above-deck controls are used when loading dusty materials that precludes having operators in the hold.
The Hatch-type ship trimmer allows material to be supplied from a sloping chute rather than from a boom conveyor.
This type would be preferred to the cable-supported trimmer where the nature of the loaded material makes it impractical for operators to remain in the hold.

This device was designed for non-free flowing material and it is strong enough not only to loosen the material but also to force it to the nozzle. It allows a continuous throughput of material.
