The Dometic air conditioner cools or heats your cabin, simultaneously it filters the air and reduces the humidity level. With powerful, efficient and environmently friendly technology in original equipment quality – the outcome of fifty years of experience in boat air conditioning. Dometic marine climate systems are available in two performance categories, 5,000 or 15,000 BTU/h. Retrofitting is worthwhile in every respect.
It’s all included in the kit: MCS 5 and MCS 15 are self-contained air conditioners with all A/C components mounted on a single chassis – this saves space and cost. Air ducts, seawater pump, electrical box, control panel, all components required for installing and using your marine climate system is included in the delivery kit. The ideal retrofit solution for smaller yachts and boats.
Cooling or heating two cabins with one air conditioner – it’s possible with the Dometic MCS 15 in combination with the optional dual air distribution kit, which neatly adapts to the MCS15.

Webasto BlueCool Premium
Whenever three or more independent volumes in a yacht need to be air-conditioned, it becomes worth considering
a central chiller system. To distribute refrigeration capacity over several independently operating air-handlers from
one single central cooling unit, the most flexible and simple solution is to install a chilled water circulation system
between the central unit and the air-handlers. This mixed water/glycol circuit is maintained at approx. +4 °C.

With a BlueCool Classic system, each cabin has its own self-contained unit providing cool air to this cabin. It is controlled by an Air Control unit which is also located in this cabin. The generated heat is transferred into the sea via the sea water circuit.

An ingenious, and iron-tough solution for on-board air conditioning is TECHNICOLD®'S line of Split DX Systems. The condensing and evaporation units are packaged together into a compact, versatile workhorse. TECHNICOLD® Split DX Systems are small enough to install in an engine room, under a floor, or tucked into any convenient berth. Reverse cycle is even available when heated air is required.
The Split DX System's compressor is equipped with a fluted cupronickel counter-flow condenser, which is sea water cooled to remove heat from the refrigerant. This keeps your unit safe and condensation free without adding space or weight. Soft copper refrigerant tubing connects the Split DX System to the evaporator. A non-corrosive, non-conductive Bakelite electrical box holds the start capacitor, start relay and run capacitor, promising reliable start-up even under low voltage conditions. TECHNICOLD® Split DX Systems are available in most voltage options and on 50/60 cycle operation.

Most air conditioning systems features a circuit inversion function which allows the system to be used for heating. However, moderate water tempera-tures are essential for efficient heating. Once the seawater temperature falls below 6°C, the heating circuit becomes inefficient.
Now Webasto is offering the BlueComfort system for total independence from environmental conditions. It consists of a water heating system and BlueCool air conditioner integrated into a single system. Technicold’s line of direct expansion evaporators are built for the most unforgiving of seas. Technicold by Northern Lights represents the state of the art in on-board environmental climate control. Offering a wide selection from 6,000 to 32,000 BTU, Technicold evaporators feature high-volume variable speed blowers that can be rotated 120 degrees for optimal versatility through top or side discharge.
Technicold evaporators are thoughtfully constructed of 16 gauge 316L stainless steel and feature heliarc welded seams throughout to resist corrosion. A two inch, double drain condensation pan assures proper drainage while preventing overfl ow, even in rough seas. Drip pans and blowers are fully insulated to prevent condensation build up.
In concert with Technicold air conditioning systems, our evaporators are available with down discharge or remote blowers to be located wherever is most convenient for your individual vessel’s needs. In a closet, under a settee, beneath a berth, in a locker – the choice is yours. A plenum outlet discharges air via fl ex duct precisely into the area to be cooled. Our 24,000 and 32,000 BTU air handlers incorporate a unique twin blower style, which dramatically lowers both noise signatures, and height profiles.

This chiller unit will control its capacity according to what is being demand in its surroundings due to the applied inverter compressor technology. There is no current peak when switching on the compressor! The chiller unit supplies cold water (glycol) which flows through a tubing circuit and fan coil units, (through which air is pulled at the same time) and as a result it cools the surrounding areas. This system can cool any given area/cabin and the temperature and airflow can be controlled and adjusted separately. The sum of the capacity of the fan coil units, which have to function at the same time, results in the total capacity of the chiller unit. To install the entire unit any cool-technical
know-how is not required. A complete system consists out of the chiller unit, fan coil units and thermostats.

The boiler function can be connected to the diesel heater or heat exchanger, and can function simultanious with the cooling function.
To install the entire unit any cool-technical know-how is not required. A complete system consists out of the chiller unit, fan coil units and thermostats.

The sum of the capacity of the fan coil units, which have to function at the same time, results in the total capacity of the clima chiller unit. The integrated diesel heater is the main source for heating the system. In order to install the entire unit any cool-technical know-how is not required. A complete chiller system consists of the clima chiller unit, fan coil units and thermostats.

The hydraulic driven chiller unit is a system which can be placed in the engine room. This chiller unit is equipped with a hydraulic driven cool compressor, circulation pump and sea water pump (intergrated). The system is driven by a hydraulic installation (mostly already present on board) and a battery supply of 24VDC. This chiller unit supplies a tubing circuit through the boat with cold water (glycol).
This fluid flows through the fan coil units (through which air is flowing at the same time) and as a result it cools the surrounding areas. This system can cool any given area, which have to function at the same time, results in the total capacity of the HC chiller unit.
In order to install the entire unit any cool-technical know-how is not required. A complete chiller system consists of the HC chiller unit, fan coil units and thermostats.

A self contained unit is a very compact air-conditioning system that can easily cool any given chamber. This compact system includes all cool technical components that an air-conditioning unit requires to cool a single compartment such as the seawater cooled condenser, compressor and evaporator. This unit can be easily installed in the compartment without being entirely visible. This system can be easily installed by any %u201Cdo it himselfer%u201D.
In order to install the entire unit any cool-technical know-how is not required. Included with this system are all basic necessary components such as the seawater pump and the thermostat. These items are required to secure a fully functioning air-conditioning system.
