This model has the same shaped handle and blade as the 8 cm 'ENCAN'. Only this time the handle is made from anodised aluminium available in a variety of different colours. The same system of a press stud, as used in the PROFIL, enables one to carry this marine knife on a belt without the use of a holster. A useful little tool and used by many in the saling world.

The Profil has an openwork anodised aluminium handle available in a variety of colours. This knife for boat, with its complex design, has the same locking system as the 'ENCAN'.
The knife has a very clever male press stud fixed to its handle, allowing the knife to be clipped directly onto you belt without the need of a holster. A female stud (to fix onto you belt) is provided with your order. |

The very first model was designed and built at sea and even though the tools used today are a little different, the handles are still handcrafted.
The blade is locked open with an internal lock system (liner-lock). The knife for boat exists in 2 sizes; 10 & 12 cms to satisfy every hand.

The Victorinox RescueTool was developed and perfected in cooperation with emergency medical and rescue services in a five-year project.
The key functions of this new pocket tool can be opened in seconds and are ready for use immediately.
All parts have been subject to stringent tests; particularly the new window breaker and disc saw tools. The rounded belt cutter can be used to cut through seatbelts safely. The tool includes the most important functions for freeing someone trapped in a car.
All tools that have to be available quickly can be opened wearing gloves for boat and are suitable for both right-handed and left-handed users.
The one-handed blade and strong screwdriver (crate opener) are fixed in position when open thanks to the liner lock mechanism.

This knife for boat is named after the place where it was designed and finally built. It is a simple and easy knife to use, the blade forged from a Swedish steel '12c27' is extremely sharp and its wooden handle has a pleasing shape.
This knife is very light due to the simple and clever locking system we have invented. A simple straight spring lock keeps the blade in the open position and a simple pressure of you thumb releases the blade back into the closed position.
You can order seperately, a very nice leather holster to accompany your knife.

Its blade is fixed in the middle and can rotate so only half of it is exposed, one side has a strong blade and the other is a tool, used to repair marine fishing nets, unshackling etc... no other tool is needed. The Skipper model is provided additionally with practical pliers with wire cutter and squeezer. The roughened, ergonomic casing gives the knife an extremely good grip, which is a considerable advantage when used on the water. VICTORINOX has developed two special marine knives for seamen: Skipper and Helmsman. Their exceptional quality has proved invaluable in many situations when sailing and boating.
