Dynamic design in steel? The UNICO range of Aquanaut yachting demonstrates that it is possible to create rounded shapes out of 4 - 6 mm steel plate. Apart from being aesthetically pleasing, this greatly facilitates maintenance thanks to the superior adhesion of paint for boat to rounded steelworks; an important feature for any owner interested in improved and easier upkeep. Another considerable advantage is that the rounded form reduces the risk of accidental damage. The UNICO range consists of four sizes from 10.55 to 14.95 metres ( 34-49 ft ).
As the name Privilege suggests, this new motor yatch has been designed and built for the absolute connoisseur of motor cruising - it has been created to meet the requirements of those who know, appreciate and expect superior style combined with the highest quality layout and build.
The Privilege, with its classical lines, multi-chine hull and CE certification "B" (sea going) complements the already proven Drifter range.
Aquanaut's team employ modern boat computer controlled systems which, combined with their traditional boat building methods create a craft with outstanding handling characteristics indicative of its shape and functionality.
The Aquanaut Drifter range comprises a series of multi chine hulled cutter for boat yachts whose classic design was primarily inspired by the need for seaworthiness, structural strength, and weight. Distinguishing Drifter features include the distinctive sheer, and the rubbing strake and bow boat fender of sturdy rope for boats work. The series consists of six sizes from 10.5 to 17.00 metres (31 to 57 ft) and there are six layout variations on each size.
Inspired by the American boat trawler yachts, Aquanaut developed a new concept - the European Voyager - she was enthusiastically received, both at her debut at the 2004 BOAT BOOT exhibition in Düsseldorf and when we, subsequently, introduced her as a 13m and 15m into our charter fleet.
Particularly impressive is the successful integration between the classical, rugged lines of the Drifter and the modern lines of the true trawler yatch; its uniqueness is based on the fact that the saloon and open cockpit are on one level and these, together with the aft deck situated above, offer enormous space.
