Propellers have two basic dimensions; diameter & pitch. Diameter is the distance measured across the propeller hub line from the outer edge of the circle that is made by the propellerÕs blades during rotation. Pitch is the distance that a boat will travel if rotated one revolution without any slippage. When describing a propeller both the diameter and pitch are given. The diameter is referenced first and the pitch is second. Therefore, a 12'' x 9'' propeller would have a 12-inch diameter and a 9-inch blade pitch.

Over the last several years, inquiries from, both, our U.S. and global markets have indicated a demand for an alternate source for higher quality aluminum propellers. Currently, a full line of Aluminum Propellers are available to fit 9.9HP thru 300HP to include I/Os. These propellers are intended as OEM replacements with OEM equivalent geometries. Using these OEM equivalent geometries ensures equivalent performance and rpm parity with the original propellers. To ensure strength and long service life, we produce these propellers using a low pressure casting process and a high quality aluminum alloy. This combination provides a propeller with the capability of being easily welded/repaired, a capability traditional die cast alloys simply cannot match.

Since the summer of 2007, inquiries from, both, our U.S. and global markets indicated a high demand for an alternate source of high quality stainless replacement propellers for the New Yamaha 350HP 4/stroke Motor. Currently, a full family of these products is available to include 3, 4, or 5-blades, left & right hand rotation, pitch ranges from 15 to 28 in 15.25 or 16.00 inches in diameter.
Due to heat exhaust and heavy torque loads on today’s propellers, the PowerTech Propeller for the Ym 350HP 4/stroke has the Cushion Lok Hub, specifically designed as a premium alternative to the classic press-in rubber hub. It allows for super soft forward and reverse engagement, maximum drive train protection, and is failure resistant.

Due to the massive influx of low cost/low quality stainless propellers imported from (well, you know where), we have developed a line of propellers (R & X-Series) that are price-point competitive WITHOUT sacrificing the PowerTech quality or steel strength.
- The R-Series blade style is similar to the Rapture/Ballistic/Stiletto, best all purpose propeller with high rake and hard wall “L” cup, available for Class D & E Motors. It has a constant 13.25 or 14.25 inch diameter (regardless of pitch), available in 13 - 23 inches of pitch, right & left hand rotation, with a square hub cavity to receive the Vortex/Flo-Torq style hub kits. ** Suggested Retail (USD): $342.00 (Class D) and $364.00 (Class E) **
