| Flange of connection to clip (in steel with galvanic protection). They have the large advantage necessiatre of ulterior workings on the pin propeller from the side flange as the connection flange/pin propeller does not only happen through the serration of Bolts. Especially in the maintenance or the substitution of the entire pin is made which propeller, this type of flange allows to velocizzare and to simplify the participations, being normally available on the market (and of our production) pins already worked on the side propeller and/or the side mancione. |

The anti-vibration system
The Aquadrive system solves a problem that's a century old; the fact that marine engines are installed on soft engine mounts and then attached almost rigidly to the propellershaft. The very logic of the Aquadrive is inescapable. An engine that is vibrating on soft mounts needs total freedom of movement from its driveshaft if noise and vibration are not to be transmitted to the hull. The Aquadrive provides just this freedom of movement Add to this the fact that the Aquadrive allows the use of even softer engine mounts and prevents those mounts from pushing the boat along by removing propeller thrust, this eliminates the need for accurate engine alignment to be either achieved or maintained and even allows for deliberate angles between engine and shaft - an Aquadrive becomes a necessity. |

The Evolution Flexible Shaft Coupling (EFSC) solves misalignment, absorbs and dampens shock loads and shaft vibrations, prolongs the life of machinery, and isolates metal-to-metal for quietness.
The EFSC is comprised of four major components: 1) a spool flange machined to bolt directly to the reduction flange; 2) a large circular rubber flex joint that's replaceable; 3) a split flange coupling for the shaft with pinch bolts, set bolts, and keyway; 4) a retainer cover that serves to protect the rubber flex joint, capture all bolts, and improve overall strength of the unit.
The Evolution Flexible Shaft Coupling uses quality construction and few parts and is easily installed.

Action of the AxiSeal
The AxiSeal is an axial seal. A totally different way of sealing from a radial seal, like the conventional stuffingbox or lip-type seal. With a radial seal the sealing rings run directly on the propeller shaft. This often causes wear of the sealing rings and the propeller shaft within a short period. With leakage as result. The AxiSeal seals axial (parallel to the shaft direction). The together with the propeller shaft rotating, self centring Silicon Carbide (SiC) rotary face runs against a Silicon Carbide (SiC) stationary seat. By "lapping" both of these surfaces the right way, a lubricating film is built up during the rotating of the propeller shaft. This results in a very low friction coefficient. This guarantees a long life. |
|
Seals have been developed to operate on propeller shafts of small, medium and large size boats where a high level of reliability is required.
The special design allows large axial displacement and the use of suitable material guarantees as well as high resistance to corrosion and high mechanical resistance to withstand stresses produced by vibrations.
The installation of mechanical seals in this particular field has solved problems such as corrosion during long periods of inactivity and shaft damage caused by traditional stuffing boxes. Power absorption is considerably reduced as well. |

The SCHOTTEL Navigator (NAV) can readily be installed as a complete, self-contained propulsion package on virtually any watercraft. Its main components are the chassis, engine or motor, clutch, cardan shaft and Rudderpropeller.
SCHOTTEL Navigators are highly flexible, easy-to-maintain propulsion systems for vessels of simple design. |
|
The SCHOTTEL Pump-Jet (SPJ) operates on the principle of a centrifugal pump. An impeller sucks in water from under the hull and forces it into a pump housing. The outlet nozzles are fitted in the bottom plate, making it possible for the jet to be installed in a flat-bottomed hull too.
With a compact design, low loss of buoyancy and low suction effect, Pump-Jets with power ratings up to 3500 kW develop a high thrust even in extremely shallow water and over a wide speed range. Like all SCHOTTEL products, they are distinguished by their excellent manoeuvring properties - as propulsion units for inland and coasting vessels or as independent manoeuvring and standby systems for seagoing ships. |
|
| The environmentally friendly HYBRID SOLUTION marks a new chapter in the history of pleasure boat propulsion systems. It not only assures zero emission and low speed manoeuvring in harbours, noiseless drive on inland waters and nature reserves, but also eliminates the need for separate generator units for other onboard equipment. The "zero emission" electric drive mode allows a speed of 5 knots using solely electric propulsion and switches to the combustion engine with an easy turn of the ignition key. The ingenious propulsion then gets "boosted" by the electric drive and enables quicker acceleration, lowering fuel consumption, improving response and dynamics. Significantly reduced maintenance costs and improved ease of service are further irrevocable arguments that STEYR MOTORS is introducing a serious technological novelty. |

The simplest way to keep your propeller and shaft free from fouling ropes and submerged debris, the Shaft Razor Cutter has been tested and marketed in Europe for several years and is now available through The Evolution Company Inc. The Shaft Razor Cutter can be installed where there is little space on the shaft
The Shaft Razor Cutter consists of a machined circular blade manufactured from a high grade of stainless steel (316L) with a sharp serrated cutting edge. It is accurately machined to the shaft diameter and kept securely in place by set screws to the shaft. Once installed, the Shaft Razor Cutter rotates with the shaft and gently cuts anything that becomes entangled on the shaft/propeller. installation consists of simply removing the propeller and sliding the Shaft Razor Cutter onto the shaft and tightening the set-screws.
The Shaft Razor Cutter can be installed where there is little space on the shaft.

EASYTURN Waterlubricated rubberbearings are used worldwide because of its excellent properties. It is the soft kind of rubber, the smart flute profile, the design and the high quality that persuades our customers worldwide to choose for EASYTURN rubberbearings instead of other suppliers. EASYTURN rubberbearings are available in an extremely wide range of standard sizes, most deliverable from stock.
Spiral fluted bearings have some advantages above the straight fluted type. E.g. the shaft is always supported by more than one pad, the shaft can not sink in a groove, better lubrication because pump-working of the bearing, reduces vibrations even better etc. For more information, please contact us! |

EasyStern® - Propulsion Systems
The EasyStern® System is a stern tube system that Amartech developed in own management and that is applied all over the world with satisfaction. The Vinylester inner tube will provide a watertight stern tube-assembly mounted between two EasyStern® ClampSeals within the mild steel outer tube. The outer tube is welded into position by the boatbuilder, and may warp during the welding-process, but with the Vinylester inner tube this does not present any problem. There is enough clearance between the inner- and outer tube to allow for any welding distortion within the stern tube-assembly. |
