Seawax Primer® is an « eco-designed » etch primer in aqueous phase. It is a mono-component product based upon a polyurethane resin.
It can be used on all sea boats or river boats.
This coating can be applied directly onto the substrate or onto existing coatings and offers very easy to apply conditions and short drying time.
Seawax Primer® applies to steel, aluminium, wood, iron, polyester (except polypropylene and polyethylene) boat bodies, under works, upper works and superstructures, to soft and rigid PVC beacon or mooring buoys in order to provide a strong antifouling and /or gloss paint.
Because it is both highly resistant and soft, it protects boat bodies against mechanical defects (cracks).
A deeper bright look is obtained through a satin-finish.
It improves adhesion to a substrate coated with an existing antifouling paint or a coating in poor condition.
A short drying time allows a shorter recovering time.
It is an ideal insulator that contributes to the waterproof of the substrate. Its original formula prevents or retards corrosion.

HPE: high built epoxy primer for polyester, steel and aluminium
|
|
Description:
A two-component etching primer, chemically drying by reaction of the mixed components and providing a temporary protection against corrosion and increasing the adhesive property of the subsequent coats.
Typical Uses:
As a pretreatment primer on nonferrous metals such as bronze & aluminium as well as zinc and galvanised iron. May also be used as pretreatment primer on blast-cleaned steel plates.

|
Mono-component, anchoring primer for fibreglass. Favours the anchorage of antifouling and monocomponent products on the new, grease-free gelcoat that was cleaned with a suitable wax remover (Sirio) to remove traces of wax and other greasy substances used in removing the fibreglass from the mould. The surface must be prepared before applying the product.
