Islands 77 Plus was developed as an alternative to tin-based antifouling paints to protect against the harshest marine environments. Using the newest biocide technology, a revolutionary polymer binder system produces an engineered biocide release that leaves no harmful effects on the environment. The result is a multi-season self-polishing paint that provides equivalent protection to tin-based formulas.

The Dual Voltage systems come supplied with two power cables, both of which should be connected in order for the unit to automatically switch between AC and DC, according to the available source.
The Ultra 10 dual comes with one single transducer and is suitable for boats with a waterline length of 10 metres.
The solution is simple!
The Ultrasonic Antifouling unit destroys algae and prevents barnacle growth, so they don't attach themselves to your hull.
How Ultrasonic Antifouling works
The control box sends a variety of pulsed ultrasonic signals to the transducer, which in turn emits a series of low power, low frequency sound waves which are virtually inaudible to the human ear. They create a wall of moving water molecules over the whole of the submerged hull. The micro - environment which exists as a result, destroys algae and barnacles so they don't attach themselves to your hull. 'The science' is in the differing frequencies and the harmonics set up within.
It's as simple as that and it works!

Boatsonic is a unique, small, but extremely effective method for the removal and prevention of algal growth on boat hulls.
Installation is very simple. All you need to do is fix the Boatsonic on the inside of the boat below the waterline, and algae and other biofouling organisms will be removed ultrasonically.
The biggest advantage of the Boatsonic is that annual antifouling becomes unnecessary.
The system benefits the environment by eliminating the need for antifouling paints, forever!

The Ultra 10 AC unit is powered from the Mains supply and this can be used within the range of 110 - 240v . It has one single transducer and is suitable for boats with a waterline length of up to 10 metres.

Ultra Solar is a new stand-alone system which complements the existing Ultra range. It is designed to give boatowners without access to a shore power supply the opportunity to benefit from having an Ultra system fitted to their boat - something which was not previously possible.
The solar controller has been specially designed to control the power between solar panels, battery and the Ultrasonic Antifouling system.
The intelligent unit keeps your battery in good health and provides the Ultrasonic system with the correct amount of electrical power. According to the voltage of your battery the controller will adjust the charge current and decide if it needs to supply the electrical loads.
Commenting on the launch, Managing Director, David Sothcott said, "Ultra Solar came about as a result of feedback from boatowners who wanted to install the original Ultra product but were unable to due to lack of a suitable power supply. We have responded to that demand, and are excited that we can now offer a solution that makes the system available to all."
Ultrasonic Antifouling has seen a massive rise in demand for its environmentally-friendly system, which uses high frequency, low power sound waves to destroy algae and therefore prevent weed and barnacle growth.
