As any other close mould method, infusion requires adapted means such as metering systems and reliable pumps. The reduction of measuring errors and wrong handling risks naturally leads toward the mechanisation of operations and the emphasised need for adequate equipment.
The polyester and epoxy machine range from Matrasur Composites offers all combinations necessary for infusion: injection under pressurised cover sheets, variable ratios, counting systems, among others. |

To collect excess resin from composite manufacturing processes, reducing the risk of resin entry to vacuum pumps and central vacuum lines. With a simple modification to the vacuum tubing glands, the vessel may also be used as a resin degassing and feed pot.
Heavy duty aluminum lid with quick release knobs
76 mm (3") diameter replaceable polycarbonate view-port to allow observation of contents
External O-ring sealed vacuum line connections to reduce resin buildup
Extra tall outer vessel to accommodate large volume 11 litre resin bucket. The large total vessel volume of 19 litres (5 US gallons) also provides a useful vacuum reservoir in power failure situations
Side mounted isolation valve - used for leak testing and to rapidly isolate the trap from the vacuum system
Side mounted vacuum gauge and controlled-rate air admit valve to reduce resin disturbance on air admit. The gauge and air admit valve remain in place when the lid is removed to change the resin bucket. This reduces the likelihood of damage and reduces "clutter" on the lid
Heavy duty mobile base |

Resin capacity: 2 litres (4.2 US pints)
Connection ports: 2 x ½ gland nuts (suits polyethylene tubing). Adapters available to suit other tube sizes
Guage port: 8mm push-fit
Weight: 2.5kg
Dimensions: 450mm x 210mm x 105mm |

PrecisionTECH™ RTM covers the entire process from design consultation of the customer’s unique system, to the training of personnel after the system has been installed. To begin, MVP offers expert consultation for the design of the customer’s specific system, even up to designing a turn-key line for larger operations.
After the initial needs have been determined and designs have been completed, the expert MVP fabrication team will build the part-specific TechLock™ Clamp system. For automation, the OptiLogic™ Control and Uniport™ Injection Sprue will be incorporated.
PrecisionTECH™ RTM offers the most diverse line of high-quality pumping systems available on the market. From the basic Pro Pump ProVantage™ unit, to the standard volume RTM Primax™ System, to the high-volume Apex™ systems, Magnum Venus Products’ systems are able to grow with the customer’s business.
Once the system is complete, MVP offers expert training on the RTM process and the equipment in the operator’s shop.
Whether the customer needs manual or automated injection, Magnum Venus Products is the only manufacturer to cover Resin Injection from consultation to installation. |
|
When production series require productivity associated with high quality, Matrasur Composites' Classic RTM solutions are the most adapted ones, bringing productivity requirements to the next level.
Matrasur Composites has designed an extensive range of RTM injection machines and turn key systems such as the Matrasur RTM Concept. |

GlasCraft's Spartan Resin Transfer Molding (RTM) Injection System is configured as a manual injection system. The Spartan is the industry standard for low cost, entry level injection systems and provides uncompromised performance.
The re-useable static mixing element can be initially cleaned with the air purge. The remaining resin and catalyst can be rinsed out with solvent, then followed by a drying air purge. This will leave the dispense head and mixing element clean, dry, and ready for the next injection.
The Pneumatic Trigger reduces pressure shock to the mold.
11:1 ratio Material Pump... durable, high-production design featuring a reliable 5" Air Motor which can develop to 1100 psi fluid pressure and delivering 2.5 gpm.
25 ft 1/2" Hoses allow for easy movement to and around molds. The 1/2" diameter allows effortless handling of filled materials.
ASME-approved 2 gallon stainless-steel Solvent Tank is standard. 5 gallon tank is an option. |
