WHITE SV´S
Rescue Boats SV-420 and SV-480 S.O.L.A.S. approved, has currently the M.C.A. authorization M.C.A., (Maritime Coastguard Agency-UK), which allows White colour for the rescue boats on board of yachts under M.C.A. regulation.
Both models has been recently adapted to comply with the S.O.L.A.S. regulation, improving towing capacity and size of engines allowed. SV-420 new design, bigger in length and beam, provides a 25% increase in terms of useful space on deck with regards to the previous model (SV 400). SV 420 it is approved for a 25 hp, being the towing capacity with that engine of 188kg, and is approved as well to be used with a 40 hp Engine, improving the towing capacity up to 305 kg. SV 480 has a wider Engine range and the boat can be equipped with engines of 40, 50, 60 and 75 hp, reaching with the last engine mentioned (75 hp) a towing capacity of 400 kg. On top of the traditional outboard engine with tiller, the new approval allows to install an adapted driving position with mechanical steering. Besides, the boat has transverse seats for all the passengers with bow locker to storage the equipment and enough room on deck to place the approved stretcher for injured person transportation when needed.

Unsinkable Narwhal rescue boats comply with SOLAS 1974 and all its ulterior amendments as well the Directive 96/98/CE on Marine Equipment (MEd).
