This enables the rider to accelerate easily, due to the support of lateral flats, its voluminous and round rails stabilises the floater.
Shape characteristics:
Scoop: stretch and higher to the nose
Outline: homogeneous and medium compact to be not too technical, it gives support for planning and jibing.
Rails: voluminous round and not too sharp, for tolerance and support.
Concave: under the mast box for quick planning.
Double concave: under the feet zone, it is stretching the rocker line to make the board accelerating.
Lateral flat sides: Stability and comfort.
Vee: on the tail (only on the little volumes) it brings control and easiness for jibing. |

THE MANOEUVRE SPECIALISTS!
Few boards have won as many tests and hearts as the Hawks, one of our all time best selling ranges! Narrower than our Eagle Freemove boards, the Hawk´s are the perfect blend of slalom-like performance, with freestyle manoeuvrability.
Blending all the best features from our Race- and Freestyle programmes into one shape is only possible with Sebastian Wenzel´s CAD programme and database. The result is 4 Freecarve shapes which are narrower and faster than most Freemove boards, for the ultimate in fun sailing!

PLEASURE AND PERFORMANCE!
The Eagle line has gained many fans over the last three seasons, surprising rider after ride with it´s absolute perfect control, as well as excellent top end performance. All three shapes remain unchanged for 2009, but are now available two constructions, a light weight, high performance Limited Edition and a top quality/durable HRS version.
A carefully CAD tuned scoop rocker line delivers performance and comfort. A compact and balanced outline, supported by the CAD logical volume flow guarantees control and comfort in all situations. Smooth rails carve through the chop like powder and will make every jibe at any speed a sensation.
A clean Power-V bottom shape ensures a smooth water release for max speed and excellent manoeuvrability. The wider centre and narrower tail outlines are the secret behind the effortless planing and great manoeuvrability.

THE TEST WINNERS!
Without a doubt the hardest boards to develop are those which must combine the most elements to appeal to all riders. Our philosophy for our bigger Freeride line, the Sharks, is not just to take the easy option of building wide, easy to plane shapes with low performance ranges. We took a much harder approach and developed Freeride boards which are not extremely wide, or fashionably short, can be used by intermediates and more experienced sailors, with an incredible all-round performance.
As with our other Freeride boards, the Shark is also now offered in two versions, a quality/durable HRS version, and the new improved Carbon Sandwich Limited Edition, for the absolute best Freeride sessions ever!

Naked boards ate high performance freerlde boards, fast, easy and extremely manouevrable, and as such absolutely suitable for SUPER X racing. A new generation of freerldes: wider and shorter, that reach very high top end speeds and that, specially the two smaller models, can be used for freestyle manoeuvres. These boards are extremely easy even In severe chop and with small sails. They are equipped with a relatively short powerbox freerlde fin in order to achieve the best compromise between speed and manoeuvrability, but If used with a Freerace fin becomes extremely fast and capable of incredible upwind performance.

| The new generation of SCross is now available at your Exocet dealer. Some of the sizes have been extensively refined, while others got a subtle "shape lifting". The new SCross 115, 125 and 145 have become the natural progressive sizes to the 105 and 95. In the process we have developed a complete new set of boards and features, while the proven test winners like the SCross 105 and 95 have only been slightly tuned based on feedback from customers and mag tests. Our Policy is truly to create a "Shape for you" rather than shapes for the narrow extremes. We strongly believe comfort and pleasure equals performance. |

After only 4 years since the first generation of X-Cite Ride boards hit the market, this board range is already a legend in the freeride group. It offers unmatched easy surfing combined with excitement on the water.
Superlatives have been used by international magazines such as: ?A true Plug and Play board in every sense, it never gets out of shape or asks too much of the rider irrespective of the conditions?. |
|
This all-new High Performance Board Concept is positioned between Full On Slalom Racing and Easy Sailing Free Ride (the X-Cite Ride) boards. Let?s be honest, the JP Slalom II boards have been developed to win in national racing and in the PWA World Cup.
In those races, they use about 2sqm bigger sails than what you would use for fun. Are you sure that you want to ride the same board as Micah Buzianis? Have you seen his legs? Or maybe a slightly less radical version of Micah?s boards would do it for you? |

"The next step "
The 180 lts Easy Ride M is a basic improvement board that in combination with the Easy Ride L will complete the learning package. Easier to plane than the L , the M gives you the feeling of acceleration and power Jiibing. The boards feel more alive and less stable under your feet and you immediately start to re-act towards active sailing. The M is the basic next step that introduces the serious windsurfer to the new world of passion! The new Soft Deck technology allows the boards to feel even more safe and comfortable for the people who start windsurfing! |
|
The GO boards are the original all-rounders that offer the blend of performance, fun, comfort and value that have marked the modern era of windsurfing history. Having pioneered the widestyle revolution, the GO boards have become the World's most popular boards and the benchmark design for the progressive freerider. The 2008 edition continues the GO legacy with an extended range of six new super-slim models that raises the bar once more.
The new range starts from 122 litres and goes up to 166 litres, offering a high performance, comfortable and affordable freeride option to more windsurfers of different skill levels and different sizes.
The GO 122, 133, 144 and 155 share the same shapes as the Futura models. In the quest for more performance across a wider wind range, the Futura brought with them the advent of the thinner-wider shape concept. The widths have become as wide as that of the GOs. So with high-performance and easy-stability meeting in terms of design, it was natural for the GO and the Futura shapes to merge. The two larger sizes (166 and 177) are GO-specific, designed especially for extra stability, ease and lightwind performance with widths that extend beyond 85cm. |

Last years magazine test winners were difficult to improve. We decided to take what we have learned from the Manta’s and apply it to these bigger freeriders. A deep double concave starts at the nose and fairs into the front footstraps with the maximum depth at 50 cm from the nose. This makes for a smoother ride and increases planing by pressuring air under the hull and lifting the board up. Choppy water no longer slows you down, and the new ride is going to be very fast and hard to beat.

It is no longer necessary for us to demonstrate the characteristic 'accessible to all' of our slalom shapes. Our last Tracers had proven that anyone can dominate on the spot.
With all our past experience, this year we have re worked our scoops, our hulls and have redrawn our outlines.
We have improved our shapes taking in consideration what we learnt from: our world wide dominance in the elite windsurf competitions and from the last years where we focused on giving you the possibilities to reach this high level performance.
The new SL 1 Concepts are aimed to reach the ultimate performance.
The perfect glide and the absolute reactivity have been optimised by a complete development on every tiniest surface of the board.
We have worked on the front part of the deck; 'two deck steps' strengthen the structure, guaranteeing an immediate reactivity of the shape during planning and when touching the water. The transfer of the applied forces is immediate towards the performance.
The strap positions have been decentred on a more comfortable deck to optimise the speed.
Cut outs disappear from the hull to the profit of a clear bottom shape without infringing the flow of the water.
The value of the V has been redefined. Under the front foot the V is at its maximum and it is nearer to zero at the back of the board, guaranteeing stability and high speed.
The tests on the water have been filmed and the results talk for themselves: the shapes accelerate on the water without the slightest interference. The transfer of the applied forces on the front of the hull to the tail is optimised, as to win in acceleration and speed. Stability is perfect allowing endless accelerations. |

| By changing name and graphics as well as extending the range. Drops pursues the slalom project with boards that are extremely last in both light and strong winds. The hull is a double concave with ilat areas at the sides that turns into a very light V towards the stern, the rails are curved in order to improve control during straight-line sailing and more docile whilst gybeing, enabling the rider to concentrate only on going as fast as possible. |
|
| Designed for the Slalom 42 format, these boards cater for the dedicated racing fan, including two shiny new models for light winds. As ever, we’ve prized comfort and control to aid top end speed and maneuverability. Triple level ergonomic power pads give grip and power in critical conditions, and our intelligent shock absorption makes better use of the decks natural dome. This superior system provides dampening, but keeps direct response underfoot. You’ll also benefit from heaps of feeling with a straight stance in light winds, and maintain outboard drive when the going gets heavy. |

GENERATION IV - WHEN SECOND JUST ISN'T GOOD ENOUGH!
Our motto " ready to race" has never been more true. These are no toys but genuine competition boards, that let you prove just how good you really are on the race course.
Our motto " ready to race" has never been more true. These are no toys but genuine competition boards, that let you prove just how good you really are on the race course.
Since Micah joined the JP team radical changes took place with the Slalom board range. He proved it on the race course by winning the world cup event in Sylt. We also won various magazine tests.
Micah's ideas were always very clear and his professional approach helped us to improve the top speed across the range in various conditions by an impressive average of 5 km/h (2 knots). No matter if we were testing in Cape Town, Maui, sea or fresh water. We were all stunned by the big step forward - this new generation makes a place on the podium as good as done.
|
|
Werner Gnigler: As soon as Micah Buzianis joined JP I started working with him on the 3rd Generation of Slalom boards. When I asked him what he expects from the new line his answer was simple and clear:
- Top Speed
- Good Control and Easy Handling
At top level racing small differences decide about loosing or winning. All the top riders are great sailors and very fit. Even for the best in the world a board which is just slightly easier to handle, makes the difference.
We discussed the range, shape details and basic measurements. The first round of protos was done to Micahs specifications. After extensive testing and tuning in Cape Town we made a big step forward and fixed the details for the next round of protos.
