The Warp X concept allows racing in any conditions from sub planing breeze to full force gales. Finally, the fun of the past's met the potential of the future. The first class innovations start at the tail. The STA (Step Tail Adapter) adds waterline and gives effortless glide in light winds. With or without the adaptor, the high aspect X fin gives exceptional speed both on and off the wind. Drag is virtually cut by the slender pintail.

Our world champion Formula is 150% dedicated to its discipline.
A Race Slalom shape of 140 litres aimed for accelerating in small wind; its rails offer the support essential to play with the limits of the wind, enabling you to go upwind without penalising your speed.
Shape characteristics:
Scoop: stretch, for quick planning and speed in light winds
Out line: compact, for good planning, manoeuvrability, control
Rails : voluminous
Hull: concave & double concaves that stretch the rocker line and make the board accelerating.
Vee: on the tail, for easiness in jibes and control.

We have pushed the on water testing of the new Warp to the max and integrated all the development necessary to make this new weapon a truly unique board.
At 158 liters the board has been slimmed down quite a bit compared to its predecessor, but performance on the plane has increased considerably. It pop out of the water in the slightest of breeze, and tracks really well upwind due to the very sharp rails all the way to the last quarter where it concludes with a chamfer for control on down wind legs.

World Champion & European Champion: Starboard's Formula boards simply dominated the past season and the current season by taking the top places in all major events, including all top eleven places at the Worlds last year, then the Midwinters and the European Championships this year. With these top eleven places at the Formula Worlds 2006 followed by the European Title, Starboard's Formula 160 became the most successful racing board in Windsurfing history.
Three key points make Starboard's lead unassailable: R&D, R&D and R&D. Simply put, Starboard invests more in racing shape development than any other team: Tiesda You, Jim Drake, Remi Vila, Svein Rasmussen, Per Andersson, Antoine Albeau, Kevin Pritchard and Julien Quentel plus the ability to make more protoypes faster creates a unique and unequalled development synergy.
For 2008, this R&D advantage becomes more critical than ever: ISAF have frozen Formula designs for 2 years to boost the stability of the class and promote it as a strong Olympic contender in 2012.

The first to set the tempo, the Pacer opens the doors on a new perception of raceboards. Morphing Formula power with longboard pedigree, from 6 through 30 knots, the Pacer sets the standard of modern course racing. Now registered in the Race Board class, accessible, affordable racing is at last a reality especially below the critical 10 knots mark.

The Phantom development started by reviewing classic longboards from the early eighties. Light wind features were integrated by keeping a rounder middle and front section with lots of forgiving tuck-under rails and a length stretching to 300 cm. The middle back rocker is flat for planing and improved high wind characteristics. The stretched hull provides directional stability and the 80cm width a slippery feel in a happy non-planing mode.
The 3 step adjustable mast track has markings to indicate ideal settings. When the 3 step mast track is in the front position, the board steers well into the wind with the 50 cm daggerboard. With the track in the middle position and the dagger retracted, the board glides comfortably, easily and gradually onto a plane. By using the back track position, the 54 cm fin engages with a more powerful planing feel for reaching in higher winds.
A full EVA deck design provides extra comfort; the softer rubber gasket seal and extra large EVA knob makes operating the daggerboard easy.
The board is a missing link between progressive lightwind cruising and a comfortable in-the-straps planing sensation.

Designed for the Slalom 42 format, these boards cater for the dedicated racing fan, including two shiny new models for light winds. As ever, we've prized comfort and control to aid top end speed and maneuverability. Triple level ergonomic power pads give grip and power in critical conditions, and our intelligent shock absorption makes better use of the decks natural dome. This superior system provides dampening, but keeps direct response underfoot. You'll also benefit from heaps of feeling with a straight stance in light winds, and maintain outboard drive when the going gets heavy.

The exciting Kona Concept called for a supplementary model, so we did the logical thing and developed a smaller version,- the KONA SURF. This "sister ship" is shorter with less width, yet the duck tail remain at the same length as the Kona and Kona Style. As a result the board feels ultra short ones on the plane.
Despite reduced width, we have kept the exact proportions of the original Kona. The centerboard is still big enough to provide efficient railing up wind, while the 38 cm fin will give the feel of being on a fast free ride board. This "short longboard" is a natural wave tool. The Kona Surf will allow you to surf waves of any size, and the pintail outline ensure excellent grip through carves at any speed.

Like a blast from the past, but yet the answer to the present call for the ultimate easy, forgiving multi purpose board suitable for all skill levels. The characteristic subtle shape combines stability, maneuverability, control and excellent sub planning performance. Cruising and racing in all conditions becomes a thrill and performing classic tricks becomes a breeze. The KONA is as demanding for advanced sailors as it is easy for "newbies" because of its versatile design characteristics with a gently curved outline, soft rails and flat rocker.

Mr. Easy
The 12' x32" is "great" in every sense of the word. Super easy to paddle and balance due to its extra width and length. It's especially comfortable to get started on this design, climb over white water and into the waves.
General maneuvering is also made simple. It is a big wide board, but due to it's curvy rocker, deep V, thin rails and rounded outline, it is still extremely agile and turns with a smooth carve.
Perfect for less-than-epic conditions found around the world, it turns the most mediocre of waves into a whole lot of fun.
Due to its phenomenal stability, it is well suited to moving up and down the board longboard-style. You can try to get all "Hawaiian" by getting up to the nose to "hang ten" and then shuffle back to lay down a carve.
Probably the most versatile board in the market and even great for tandem surfing and fishing.

With development that never stops, the Switch provides everything freeride kiteboarders are looking for.The original "eye" Concave offers the key to the light wind performance of the switch, while significant progress in flex characteristics has been achieved through the unique tapered ABS rail.
This increases stiffness in the center section of the board, with a harmonious and accelerated increase in flex towards the tips.
The result is improved carving, smoothness and a new level of refinement.

Twintip Performance for Surf and Chop
The Hammer was developed from a tradicional twintip with the goal of radically enhancing wave riding capabilities without losing ease-of-use. While originally conceived to be a dedicated wave riding twin tip, the Hammer also proved to be a huge stand out in very choppy conditions.

Our absolute bestseller : sailbag and mastbag as one unit – a very practical solution.
The Combibag provides a safe transit for sails and masts as a single unit. The Mastbag can be securely fixed to the bottom of the sailbag with heavy duty clip fasteners. The mastbag can be inserted in a 30 cm long pouch at the front of the sailbag. This provides whole unit more with more security and aerodynamic during transit. Holding straps for the roof rack can be placed between mast and sailbag to avoid crushing or creasing of sails.
For longer trips and a higher speed we recommend to fix the whole Comibag with an additional strap.
Both bags can be used separately.

this ancient latin saying (means "you learn by harm") has not lost any of its actuality up to now. however, people who prefer avoiding impairment to learning are clever.
a good surfboard is precious and expensive. one more reason to protect it against transport damage and proofs of use by putting it into a fitting BOARDBAG. As you know: the first scratch in your board is the one that hurts the most.
