EASYTURN Waterlubricated rubberbearings are used worldwide because of its excellent properties. It is the soft kind of rubber, the smart flute profile, the design and the high quality that persuades our customers worldwide to choose for EASYTURN rubberbearings instead of other suppliers. EASYTURN rubberbearings are available in an extremely wide range of standard sizes, most deliverable from stock.

Spiral fluted bearings have some advantages above the straight fluted type. E.g. the shaft is always supported by more than one pad, the shaft can not sink in a groove, better lubrication because pump-working of the bearing, reduces vibrations even better etc. For more information, please contact us!
The Evolution Marine Shaft System (EMSS) is a complete shaft system from engine to propeller. It's comprised of two major components: 1) the "oil-lubricated section" containing a '22' allow stainless steel shaft enclosed in a 316L stainless steel shaft log tube with aft bearing housing and forward thrust bearing housing, and 2) the internal connecting shaft with a splined slip joint and flexible joints at each end.
Other system components include the engine adapter, mounting flanges, and monitor tank with its fittings and hoses.
The AxiSeal is an axial seal. A totally different way of sealing from a radial seal, like the conventional stuffingbox or lip-type seal. With a radial seal the sealing rings run directly on the propeller shaft. This often causes wear of the sealing rings and the propeller shaft within a short period. With leakage as result. The AxiSeal seals axial (parallel to the shaft direction). The together with the propeller shaft rotating, self centring Silicon Carbide (SiC) rotary face runs against a Silicon Carbide (SiC) stationary seat. By "lapping" both of these surfaces the right way, a lubricating film is built up during the rotating of the propeller shaft. This results in a very low friction coefficient. This guarantees a long life.
Seals have been developed to operate on propeller shafts of small, medium and large size boats where a high level of reliability is required.
The special design allows large axial displacement and the use of suitable material guarantees as well as high resistance to corrosion and high mechanical resistance to withstand stresses produced by vibrations.
The installation of mechanical seals in this particular field has solved problems such as corrosion during long periods of inactivity and shaft damage caused by traditional stuffing boxes. Power absorption is considerably reduced as well.

The simplest way to keep your propeller and shaft free from fouling ropes and submerged debris, the Shaft Razor Cutter has been tested and marketed in Europe for several years and is now available through The Evolution Company Inc. The Shaft Razor Cutter can be installed where there is little space on the shaft
The Shaft Razor Cutter consists of a machined circular blade manufactured from a high grade of stainless steel (316L) with a sharp serrated cutting edge. It is accurately machined to the shaft diameter and kept securely in place by set screws to the shaft. Once installed, the Shaft Razor Cutter rotates with the shaft and gently cuts anything that becomes entangled on the shaft/propeller. installation consists of simply removing the propeller and sliding the Shaft Razor Cutter onto the shaft and tightening the set-screws.
