Constructed from aluminium, hard anodised and built to last. The robust drum house for boat, hydraulic drive and oilbath gearbox ensure virtually silent running and hardly any maintenance.
The drum takes a single layer of rope for boat and its length is calculated depending on the necessary working length and diameter.
A stainless steel spindle alongside the drum moves a car with a sheave at the precise speed relative to the drum and rope diameter, stowing the rope neatly on the drum. There are limit boat switches at each end of the spindle which stop the winch for boats when the car reaches its limit.
Six sizes of reel for boat winch are available, ranging from 1500kg to 18.000kg pulling force. |

Managing your boat is a demanding task - sails represent a challenge. The challenge of managing them correctly, managing them yourself, and doing so in time basically amounts to managing the powers of nature. So why not empower yourself with this ability? ANDERSEN Electric Boat winches© are the right tools for the job. Representing a combination of safe sailing and convenient push-button technology, these winches are also designed to allow easy assembly and dismantling for service and maintenance. In addition, the motor is protected from overload by an amperage sensor installed to cut off power at a pre-set load. As a further precaution, all marine electric motors are fitted with thermal cutouts in case for boats of overheating.
ANDERSEN Electric Winches are supplied complete with an installation manual, electronics box, boat switches, and cable marine terminals. |

We have added yet another uncompromising new motor product to our existing line of high-quality motors. The new ANDERSEN COMPACT Motor© comes as a variable-speed or 2-speed unit in two versions: Below Deck, with smaller built-in dimensions than a standard motor, and Above Deck, which features the boat winch directly mounted onto the motor. This motor is a highly efficient unit with a high line speed and good traction. The unit is extremely well-suited for mounting and is compatible with the ANDERSEN Modular Power System©.
This motor demonstrates why ANDERSEN Products© are in a class of their own. When we say COMPACT, we mean COMPACT - because the unit is a true unit. The motor, gears and power supply feature an all-in-one design. There are no extra control boxes and only 3 cables out of the unit, resulting in the smallest dimensions available in a motor. The unit itself consists of 2 compartments, with the motor compartment completely sealed and water-resistant, and the gear compartment specially adapted to meet service needs. The motor is built on a entirely new commutator principle using no carbon brushes, resulting in the virtual elimination of wear and tear. This new approach to motors also provides other advantages, including a power consumption 30-50% lower than that of a normal electric unit. The weight is reduced by approx. 50% of a standard electric unit. So for us, COMPACT means less weight, more power and a fully integrated design. |
|
Based on our unique Modular Power System©, ANDERSEN Hydraulic Boat winches© create a solid foundation for distributing power throughout your boat. Smooth running and reliable performance are not the only advantages provided by ANDERSEN Technology - design and versatility are equally important aspects of our products. Single-speed or 2-speed winches - it is your choice when using an ANDERSEN Winch model 46ST and up. Combining our winches with the Modular Power System and our Power Packs© provides you with all the power you need. We have developed a full set of Data Sheets containing all the detailed information you require to run your yacht.

|
| We have developed an entirely stainless marine winch. This is a prerequisite for the yachtsman who places honor in making his yacht look its best. ANDERSEN Full Stainless© is beauty at work, enhancing the unique image of your boat and the sheer pleasure of beholding it. A synthetic cap and base are replaced with stainless steel parts, transforming the winch into an aesthetic statement. |

The ANDERSEN name is synonymous with precision, reliability and the ability to adapt to any situation. For our customers, this adds up to pure empowerment, allowing you to manage your sails and your boat with the utmost efficiency. In addition, the self-tailing device is designed to accommodate a number of different of sheet and halyard sizes - enabling the winch to serve many different purposes and providing you with a range of products to choose from, no matter what you sail. A special option for ANDERSEN Winches is a choice of having your own winch titanium-coated in bronze or brass, whichever matches your traditional boat. This means that the surface of your ANDERSEN Winch will never show wear and tear. |

The simple winch handle is one item that most of us take for granted - unless of course it's about to take a quick trip over the side! Until now. The newly formed custom team at Lewmar have taken the everyday handle and redesigned it to create a pretty neat solution - aimed at both speeding up manoeuvres and improving usability.
A better lock-in winch handle had been on the design list at Lewmar for some time. The quick engagement and release of a handle in the sailboat top of a winch is essential in any manoeuvre, but in the past, getting handles in and out of marine winches always required a certain amount of time consuming fiddling around - made even more difficult in the heat of battle or with cold hands. Lock-in clips were often removed to make the process quicker, but this can lead to handle slippage under load as well as increasing the risk of it being flicked over the side by a stray line. |
