The standard Scubar system is supplied with the following components:
Camera Wand Unit
High resolution colour CCTV camera with in-built LED illumination. The LED are automatically controlled by a photoelectric diode which operates below 0.4 lux.
Waterproof to 40 meters, the camera is fixed to a 12" manually flexible neck section that joined in turn to the wand handle. This allows the camera to be manipulated into the desired position.
Telescopic Extension Pole
Three stage lightweight extension pole constructed from spun glass fibre. Each section measures 1.5 meters, allowing full extension to 4.5 meters. Compression clamps fitted to each section let the used fix the pole at the desired length.
Monitor / Battery Pack
Power for the monitor and camera is provided by rechargeable sealed lead acid batteries contained in the monitor case, which is constructed from hardwearing but lightweight materials. The 5.6" colour TFT screen sits in a foam moulding that also secures the batteries and internal circuitry.
Battery / Charger Information
12vdc Sealed Lead Acid batteries provide around two hours continual operation between charges.
Cables
Camera Wand and extension pole cables are fitted with military grade fully waterproof IP68 connectors and reinforced internally with a waterproof silicon compound.
Equipment Bags
The telescopic extension pole and Camera Wand unit is supplied with a padded canvas carry-case.
The IM-SCU-FS Scubar system incorporates the features of the standard Scubar and Scubar-R systems in a high visibility yellow and red colour scheme, specifically produced for the emergency services.
Cables are also supplied with 90 degree metal connectors to prevent damage to cables during operation in extreme conditions.
A wireless video transmitter can also be built into the monitor case that beam pictures directly back to support unit up to 100 meters away (line of sight).
