The Vacmobile VB series were originally designed for vacuum bagging applications. With the addition of one or more of our accessory resin traps, they are also ideal for resin infusion. They may be used as a vacuum source for vacuum clamping and lifting.
The VB series machines are built from a series of modular components which can be customised around vacuum pumps of capacities up to 160 m3/h (and even larger if appropriate). Depending on the pump model, electrical systems can be single or 3 phase. The very rugged manifold/filter units can be customised to suit individual requirements. |

Utility vacuum, generally suitable for a multitude of applications, such as vacuum bagging, vacuum assisted resin infusion and vacuum clamping.
The Vacmobile Quickdraw mobile system comprises two distinct pumps, a high flow low vacuum
exhauster and a low flow high vacuum pump. While a single phase powered machine which can conveniently be operated from any standard 10 amp power board, it provides the same initial pumping performance of a large 2.2kW three phase rotary vane vacuum pump!
The Quickdraw exhauster allows continuous operation at poor vacuum levels (from nil vacuum to 70%), ideal for debulking and forming an initial bag seal. Once bag positioning is complete and leaks are eliminated, the high vacuum rotary vane pump can then be set to automatically activate to achieve bagging or infusion vacuum levels, up to 99.8%. The operator can run either of the two pumps selectively, or as a combination described above when a high ultimate vacuum is required. The Quickdraw package also includes a multi-port manifold with integrated filter, vacuum regulation valve, vacuum indicator gauge, electrical control panel and hour-run meter. |

RTM light composite manufacturing process. Independently controlled vacuum levels allow tuning to suit each mold/laminate. The Dual-vac is efficiently sized and can supply vacuum to multiple molds. The mobile system can also be used for other composites manufacturing processes, such as vacuum bagging or resin infusion (with optional accessories). The Vacmobile Dual-vac comprises two dedicated vacuum pumps, one for clamping the mold and the other to aid the resin transfer process. Also included are twin vacuum regulation valves,
pre-filter units, vacuum indicator gauges, electrical control panel and hour-run meter. |

Composite manufacturing processes such as resin infusion and vacuum bagging. The Vacmobile 20/2 is also an ideal vacuum source for most vacuum clamping and lifting duties.
The Infusion 20/2 system is complete with an integral resin trap and provides excellent performance from a compact package. All vacuum joints are very heavy duty to ensure vacuum integrity over a long working life. The machine's normal working height can be reduced to 602 mm (23.7") for transport in most station wagons, making it ideal for transport between different work locations or for off-site repair work. |

| VADS is the first direct-drive dry-running screw. With integrated speed controlling for demand-oriented applications and no need for a drive transmission, VADS is truly a Becker innovation! This unit is able to fulfil the highest requirements for a wide range of applications. By entering the load and output into your customer system, the air supply system automatically and directly adapts to the given requirements. The frequency-controlled drive unit offers a wide control range with optimised demand matching. In addition to energy savings and higher efficiency, this also results in lower maintenance requirements. The non-contact, oil-free screw unit ensures high air flows with low pulsation and lends itself to "master/slave" operation. Integrated accessories include a non-return valve, intake filter, sound absorbers and ventilation/bleed system. An air blast cooler is also available. |

As any other close mould method, infusion requires adapted means such as metering systems and reliable pumps. The reduction of measuring errors and wrong handling risks naturally leads toward the mechanisation of operations and the emphasised need for adequate equipment.
The polyester and epoxy machine range from Matrasur Composites offers all combinations necessary for infusion: injection under pressurised cover sheets, variable ratios, counting systems, among others. |
