Origin
The lines of the Midget 26' have been derived from the classical form of the fishingboats from Lynaes, situated on the northcoast of the Danish island Seeland. For centuries this hullform is considered as ideal for fishingboats in the often rough waters of the Kattegat.
Concept
The Midget 26' is originated by some members of the Midget-club who wanted a larger double-ender than the existing Midget 20'. She is a traditional styled ship on which several people can stay in a comfortable way. For a 26' yacht, she offers an enormous amount of space. According to the European CE directives the ship is classified in category "B". Category "B" means: "Designed for voyages in which the windforce is not exceeding Bf 8 and the characteristic waveheight is not exceeding 4 meters".
Standard version
The standard version of the Midget 26 is a complete sailingyacht with a sleeping capacity for 6 people. The interior lay-out comprises a roomy saloon with a U-shaped sofa, double berths in two separated cabins aft, a galley and a toilet. Standard are the anchorwinch, the pressurized freshwatersystem, solidteak cockpit benches and grating, stove and oven.

The HR 31 is a true Hallberg-Rassy, with the same high level of quality and elegance as her larger sisters. The interior woodwork and joinery is done in the selected mahogany that has become a Hallberg-Rassy trademark. The interior is extremely well laid out for her size. A full size navigation table, a spacious galley, saloon, large head and shower compartment, and two private staterooms gives you the volume and space in our Hallberg-Rassy 31, that you would normally find on a much larger boat. The cockpit is comfortable and easily accommodates your guest, and has generous capabilities.

World premiere for the new Hallberg-Rassy 342 was at the Open House weekend at Hallberg-Rassy in Sweden 26-28 August 2005. This new model has proved to be a sales success from the start. Exactly 15 years ago the almost revolutionary HR 34 was launched. Never before had it been possible to combine so much sailing joy in such a comfortable and elegant yacht. This meant the model became one of the yard's best sellers with over 500 sold. The HR 342 is a complete new design that gives a little more of everything and at the same time offers all the good values that made the HR 34 so successful.
