Numerous published sea trials on the Surfhunter (express) and Harrier 25's already in service attest to the remarkable comfort, dry ride, seakeeping, and roughwater performance of this design, created from the outset to handle the three different types of propulsion - a feature currently unavailable in any other center console boat.

Designed specifically for high-horsepower four-stroke outboards, the new 26CC utilized their added weight aft for a deeper V even with added beam.

The new boat is a collaboration of the Southport design team, Hunt Associates and Gerrard Design. The all-fiberglass model utilizes a unitized, foam-filled fiberglass stringer system grid to support the 22-degree deadrise continuously variable vee hull design. A self-bailing cockpit inner liner and deck ring complete the four-piece design.
