Mini SEEMATZ searchlights are made of seawater resistant GFK and aluminium. The luminary consists of reflector and frontpane as one unit. Removing two frontpane fastener the complete luminary can be taken out.
The manuale steering for operation from the wheelhouse and the handle of the handheld type are made of aluminium. All steering devices can be built in very easy

The standard diameter for all columns will be 100mm. This type can be used for all
SEEMATZ searchlights in every area. Also available is a type with with 80mm
diameter. That one can be used for all SEEMATZ searchlights from 273 up to
463 HGS, but only in non polar areas.
Following steering types are available:
DS = deck short, searchlight direct on a mountingt foot
DH = deck high, searchlight on a pedestal with a standard length from 1000mm
WS = wheelhouse short, searchlight on a mounting foot with a 500mm column
into the bridge.
WH= wheelhouse high, searchlight on a 1000mm pedestal and 500mm column
into the bridge.
Every steering type is totally watertight and easily installed. After cutting a hole, the
column can be inserted smoothly into the vessel´s ceiling. This installation makes a
secure and elegant finish, even for wheelhouse roofs with thick insulation.

The control system is based on TCP/IP technology were 9 different units of Xenon or Halogen searchlights can be connected to the same network through Ethernet cat 5 cables. It is stepless adjustable 360° horizontal and 55° tilting movements. There are several options of control panels both hard wired and wireless, which are fitted to standard solution.
