SEEMATZ standard steering are available in two different dimensions.
The standard diameter for all columns will be 100mm. This type can be used for all
SEEMATZ searchlights in every area. Also available is a type with with 80mm
diameter. That one can be used for all SEEMATZ searchlights from 273 up to
463 HGS, but only in non polar areas.
Following steering types are available:
DS = deck short, searchlight direct on a mountingt foot
DH = deck high, searchlight on a pedestal with a standard length from 1000mm
WS = wheelhouse short, searchlight on a mounting foot with a 500mm column
into the bridge.
WH= wheelhouse high, searchlight on a 1000mm pedestal and 500mm column
into the bridge.
Every steering type is totally watertight and easily installed. After cutting a hole, the
column can be inserted smoothly into the vessel´s ceiling. This installation makes a
secure and elegant finish, even for wheelhouse roofs with thick insulation.

Barrel, back plate and crutch are made of stainless steel, base made of corrosion-resistant LM6 aluminium, toughened soda-lime glass lens super purity aluminium mirror. All outside surfaces are white powdercoated, internal surfaces are optical matt black. Standard fitment heater, thermostatically controlled, electric remote focus. Mounting variations look the table.

XR 150 and XS 500 are very well suited for high speed vessels, tug boats, pilot vessels and luxury yachts, due to the clean compact design and low weight. All the components are chosen to withstand corrosion. The searchlights are designed for use in extreme marine environments and require a minimum of maintenance. Seawater-resistant aluminium housing finished with whitepolyester coating.

Xenon searchlights XS 500, XS 1000, XS 1600, XS 2000 and XS 3000 are suitable for all kinds of ships. The control system is based on TCP/IP technology were 9 different units of Xenon or Halogen searchlights can by connected to the same network through Ethernet cat 5 cables. There are several options of control panels both hard wired and wireless, which are fitted to standard solution.
