Applications

The ship exhaust silencer is used to reduce the noise of an internal combustion engine. It can also include a spark arrester or devices to treat CO2 emissions, damp vibrations, etc.

Technologies

The exhaust silencer is generally cylindrical to fit the exhaust pipe, though size and shape may vary. It can be made of a variety of materials (steel, composites, alloys) capable of resisting high temperatures.

How to choose
