Parachute Anchor Coastal 9.
A Para Anchor is designed to provide sufficient power to hold the bow of a vessel head to wind in the worst storm conditions.
It should be deployed from the bow of the vessel and greatly reduces the risk of broaching, capsizing or rolling, keeping the boat more comfortable and stable throughout the duration of the heavy weather. Most importantly it allows the vessel to take the storm head on, rather than running with it, which reduces the time spent in discomfort.
A must have for any cruising yachtsman or long distance sailor.

We are very pleased to introduce to you the little "sister" of the SPADE: It is called SWORD.
Its spoon shape confers an exceptional holding .
Its ratio "Holding surface area /weight " is highest of all currently existing
anchors.
The advanced fixing of the shank gives it, in spite of the absence of ballast, a distribution of the weight on the tip (pledge of a good penetration) among the heaviest.
The shape of its shank enables it to adapt itself to all bow rollers.. to self release itself and retrive automatically with the windlass and always to position itself in the best position for a very fast setting.
And much of other excellent characteristiques...
And although its holding is very high, its price is very sveet..

To make permanent moorings, to anchor floating docks or fish farms basins ,
etc... For equal weight, the helicoid anchors have a higher holding than any
other type of anchor. This type of anchoring can also be used for many
terrestrial applications, when it is necessary "to anchor" something
temporarily or definitively in a movable ground, soft ground - sand.
Advantages:
- For a cheap price, the holding of the helicoid anchors is highest.
- Made of hotdip galvanized steel, their lifespan is very long.
On the opposite of the temporary anchors, they do not dredge on the sea
bottoms, and do not require a great water height ratio for the mooring line .
They are thus respectful of the sea-beds ecology.
The "SKREW" anchor is made out of high strength steel . The rod is forged in
only one metal bar with an round eye fixation .
Fixing is carried out using a bar passed in this eye.

SPADE anchors are manufactured in 3 materials (Steel, Aluminium, Stainless Steel), and in 6 sizes.
Plough shaped anchors are designed to plough sea floors. SPADE anchors by name, and by action, dig deeply into the sea floor. Once they are within the sea floor, the concave shape of SPADE anchors compact the sea floor, and thus not to move! This design is unique.
The remarkable efficiency of a SPADE anchor is due to the size, and shape, of its effective surface : SPADE anchors of the same surface area will have the same holding power, no matter the material they are made of. All models meet the seven safety criteria :
1. The anchor digs in rapidly, regardless of the type of sea bottom.
2. The anchor buries itself deeply within the bottom.
3. Once set, the anchor gives the maximum holding power without dragging.
4. If the traction force exceeds the bottom holding characteristics, the anchor offers constant, and maximum, resistance to dragging - even if it moves under extreme load.
5. The anchor keeps on holding, regardless of the shift in direction of either the wind or the current.
6. The anchor design doesn't allow the anchor rode to become snagged by the anchor.
7. The anchor is built strongly enough to withstand very high loads.
