The design of the Catalina Expo 14.2 is based on the hugely successful Catalina 14.2. Having built over 5,000 Catalina 14.2s the Expo is intended as an alternative rig configuration for those new to sailing or experienced sailors who want to enjoy the fun of small boat sailing in a simple, non-technical fun boat. The SmartRig® system consists of a tapered carbon fiber mast and deck stepped Hoyt boom. Just two lines control all the sail’s power. One line controls the sail size, while the mainsheet line shapes the sail. Strong, yet flexible, the mast bends in the gusty conditions instead of the boat heeling excessively. Having far less weight than an aluminum mast, the boat is more stable, with less tipping. At the end of the day, just pull the furling line and the sail wraps completely around the mast. The mast and boom are free-standing and have no wires or chainplates to work around. This not only greatly decreases set-up time, but makes for a roomy, more comfortable, inviting cockpit. The one-piece aluminum Hoyt boom is up high and out of the way, with no chance of falling into the cockpit.

Long before Farr Yacht Design Ltd. established its presence as one of the preeminent designers of offshore racing yachts, Bruce Farr and partner Russ Bowler had already established themselves as world class dinghy designers and helmsmen. While a dinghy design by the Farr office might be a surprise to some, it was not to Ian Bruce. Himself an international calibre dinghy sailor, and one of the owners of Performance Sailcraft, he just happened to be looking for a new boat for his company.
Ian was looking for a boat that would fill the demand he was getting for a boat in which parents could take their children on the water and teach them how to sail. The Byte, which he designed, was too small having been designed for the 100 - 150 lb. sailor. Therefore, what he was looking for was a boat that could carry some "serious weight" with a proper cockpit laid out for two people, but with the simplicity of a single sail. It would have no wires holding up the mast and would have a lightweight, tapered, carbon fiber tube. It would be very fast, yet, it would be a pleasure to sail. In addition, it would be light enough (130lbs) to throw up on the car top making it a truly recreational product

We created the Phileas 10 years ago to make
the "new dinghy" accessible to a great number of
sailors without too many technical and financial
constraints. A great success, if we consider the
number of Phileas sailing around.

Welcome to the new, asymmetrical spinnaker dinghy ...
The adaptable, thoroughbred and high-performance hull design of the BOOXY 4.40 makes this ultra-stable dinghy both quick and comfortable, enabling helmsmen to discover the "new generation'" dinghy for themselves whilst also appreciating the advantages of its asymmetrical spinnaker.
The whole length of the self-draining cockpit is open, and the side tanks and open transom have been designed especially with user-friendliness in mind.
The Booxy is fitted with a large, waterproof tank underneath the deck, offering a convenient place in which to store effects and personal belongings.
Very carefully constructed, including a double bunt linked to the hull with pre-moulded polyester, this single-piece vessel is particularly stable on the water. Any mechanical problems caused by the shrouds or centre-board tank are eliminated by special supports, whilst the "wing" rubbing strakes are designed according to the shape of the hull, adding extra rigidity.

Celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, the Laser 2000 has proved itself as both a club racer and family cruiser. It is a lovely and forgiving boat that provides exhilarating gennaker sailing for both novice and advanced sailors.
Its easy to reef mainsail, furling jib and storage boxes make it an ideal family cruising boat, while the easy to hoist and drop gennaker, and easy to adjust vang and cunningham make it great for racing. This boat truly provides the best of both worlds.

Easily sailed by 4 or less crew the T7 is a low coast production boat and is an international one design with limitations on sail replacement each season.
Exhilarating sailing due to large rig and light weight, the T7 is easily handled due to its high ballast ratio. Perfect for sailors who may have been out of sailing for some time and want all the thrills without much of the expense of a larger yacht.
A smaller boat also means finding less crew.
Easily trailered behind the family car, the T7 can be ramp or crane launched using the keel mounted lift position. The simply stayed carbon fibre rig needs no backstays and controls and kept to a minimum to promote totally simple sailing enjoyment.
The T7 can also be purchased in "trainer mode", with detuned rig size, dacron sails, fixed keel for hardstanding and modified deck layout - perfect for training programmes.
