Simply stated, the Friendship 53 is a stretched out version of the Friendship 40. Born of a desire to replicate the exact look and idea of her highly successful little sister, the 53 is slightly larger, with two staterooms below instead of one. Retaining a nearly identical exterior, the flawlessly clean decks and low profile cabin top provide a full 360 degree line of sight for the helmsman. The spacious cockpit with three deep settees provides an ample seating area unparalleled to any other yacht in this size range. The addition of a fixed bimini over the cockpit creates the feeling of an additional room on deck. Retaining the 40's shallow draft, she draws 4. 95' with the centerboard up. and 10.53' with the board fully down.
Keeping with the classic look of the 40, the satin and gloss varnished, raised-panel teak joinery with painted v-groove hull ceilings is timeless. The interior of the boat hosts a double cabin aft, with an ensuite head to port. Forward is a master cabin with a large, centerline berth, an ensuite head and separate shower. At the base of the stairs, a full galley is to starboard, which leads to the open, surprisingly spacious main salon with two large facing settees, including one that is convertible to a navigation table. There is also a flat screen TV that retracts down into the back of the centerline settee. Two optional interior arrangements have also been drawn for those who are interested in a three-cabin layout.
Highlights onboard the Friendship 53 include a technologically advanced sail handling system to keep sailing at an easy pace. The 100% genoa is electric furling, with sheets led right to the electric winches at either side of the helm. Conlrolled by two buttons al the helmsman's feet, the in-boom furling main is simple to handle. There is also a GPS system with a screen plotter in the cockpit table and a radar plotter with display in the nav. station.
Whether it is luxury sailing for the afternoon or coastal cruising, she will turn heads just as the Friendship 40 does, but in more distant deslinations.

The ideas for the 17m Classic Yacht / Enavigo 56 are to design a nice looking yacht in the spirit of the traditional yachts with maximum elegance and high performance. A yacht created for optimum sailing pleasure and a pleasure to look at, without compromise.
To achieve this we will take full advantage of the modern materials and technology. This means a modern below waterline profile with a deep fin / bulb keel and high aspect spade rudder. For the hull construction is chosen wood core method; western red cedar strip planking covered with UD glass fibres in epoxy.
This guarantees a light displacement boat and together with a carbon fibre mast it will be a very powerful boat that can carry a lot of sail area.
For the deck the craftsmanship of a classic yacht will be used with a small cabin top in style to get the right look.
