Staggering, everything on Victoria T. is staggering… Almost
104 feet long, a 125 feet mast, 7,000 sq. ft. of sail, 30 tons of lead in a bulb keel, the finest leather delicately blended with teak, silver birch and mahogany. Surf the wave in intoxication, experience her dazzling performance into the wind.
Victoria T.’s understated elegance is equally staggering. She is luxurious and delightful yet remains dignified and tasteful. Bruce Farr designed a yacht beyond fashion where classicism and grace complement the qualities of a racer.
Victoria T. was custom-built at the owners’ request, designed, studied and constructed to project her best, cultivated and refined ; each detail is the reflection of hours of study, of research and of passionate labor.

Built for a client of Wally Yachts, Kenora is a development from Wally 'B', sharing similar hull lines, while she has very different deck and interior plans. This 107' (32 metre) sloop is a round-the-world cruiser conceived for an experienced Yachtsman who spends a lot of his time onboard, personally sailing the Yacht during long passages.
Designed by Luca Bentra, Kenora benefits from having all the long distance equipment typical of a bluewater cruiser, but still providing the performance, the ease of handling, and the great comfort shared by all the Yachts of her class

Unfurled is a racing certainty with German Frers's performance hull form and Andrew Winch's minimalist design.
When the owners commissioned the 34m/112' Unfurled it was only they who truly understood what would come rolling out of the main construction hall at the Royal Huisman Shipyard some 22 months later. Their clear vision had guided the design team of German Frers and Andrew Winch to create a yacht that symbolizes great design. "She is timeless and is neither fickle or flashy and she speaks quietly to the yachting world about the meaning of elegance and eternity," said the owner during the launching ceremonies. And it is without doubt that it was the owner's tutorage that also guided the Huisman team to elevate their own skills and bring new definition to custom yacht construction.

The construction of large sailing yachts means intelligent interaction between the classical art of boatbuilding, innovative production technologies and the implementation of modem materials. Besides high tech yachts with classical lines, AAR builds performance yachts and cruising yachts with sportive characteristics and special comfort.

Beagle V was the second Yacht commissioned by her owner and built with us – the first being Beagle Star.
Beagle V was launched in 2001, and followed a similar philosophy to Beagle Star – a Yacht with extremely good seaworthiness while at the same time offering a high level of performance.
The owner’s aim was to retain the feel created by the small-sized crew used on the previous Beagle and this has been successfully retained on Beagle V through the use of the open layout and the automated systems which have been introduced to aid ease of sailing

From a German Frers' design Maxi Dolphin 118' is the buttonhole of Maxi Dolphin's new production line now ranging from 65' up to 118' for semi-custom boat series.
Constructed with composite material, 36 metres length overall for 8 metres with maximum beam, Maxi Dolphin 118' has a sloop rig with mast and boom in Carbon fibre by Southern Spars from New Zealand, deck gear and winches by Harken and sails by North Sails Italia.
The sail plan and the entire rigging have been designed to make handling the yacht as easy as possible; and a crew of four is really sufficient to comfortably sail her on a cruise.
The bulb sliding fin is mobile and can be adjusted to obtain a maximum draft of 5.50 metres during the sailing and a minimum of 3.50 metres when sailing in shallow waters. Besides the 550 hp main engine Maxi Dolphin 118' has at her disposal also a 130 hp auxiliary engine which supplies power to the hydraulic circuit that handles the fin piston, the sail plan rigging and the stern hatch.

No matter whether we design the craft in house or we coorporate with of an international designer, we always put our whole heart into the ship. And nowhere is shipbuilding so varied: a classic sailing yacht constructed from wood, an up-to-date fast sloop in aluminium, a displacement motor yacht in steel, or a speedboat in fibre glass. Each new yacht is unique, mirroring the style and the philosophy of its owner.

Performance cruisers
Why design a Performance Cruiser when you have never received any complain of a Nordia not being fast enough? Well, simply because there is a group of people that prefer a faster lifestyle than the other. The challenge for us was to create a fast performance yacht with razor sharp handling characteristics, without compromising our standards for durability, practicality and comfort. The result is a range of stretched and sleek looking yachts that clearly display their performance pedigree but instantly recognisable as a Nordia.

The construction of our first ever Superyacht Taramber began in June 1989. She was completed in September 1991. Leading international designer Ed Dubois was commissioned to create Taramber - this heralded the beginning of our close association with the famous architect. His brief was to create a striking, technologically advanced vessel that would be a pleasure for the owner to sail with a small crew.

Once, the Huisman series of advertisements carried the headline 'another typical Huisman yacht'. This play on words, because a typical Huisman yacht doesn't exist, is characterized in the look and feel of Maria Cattiva. Typical for Huisman was the fact that this 40m Bruce King designed cutter rigged sloop was not typical at all!
“Maria Cattiva”, a cutter rigged sloop with a length of 40 metres, was designed by Bruce King and built by the Royal Huisman Shipyard in Holland. Built under full Lloyds/MCA classification Bruce King was challenged to design a world wide cruising yacht of stately good looks.
Having a deck layout arranged around two deckhouses with adjoining cockpits, Bruce King has stylized this design with his signature of oval shaping for structures combined with an intricate array of spectacular details. And although built of lightweight Alustar aluminum the look is of traditional wooden construction. The deckhouse sides, cockpit coamings, hatches and all other general deck joinery is in high gloss varnished teak providing a level of elegance not attainable any other way. And as if this elegance was not enough, King has elected to use a high aspect carbon fiber mast with a fully battened slab reefing mainsail to undoubtedly optimize her performance right on down to the lowest of wind strengths.

Antares the star has been heralded as a brilliant jewel in the Milky Way. With her first magnitude brightness she lies in stark contrast to her namesake Aries - the Greek god of War; and as a yacht underway at Royal Huisman Shipyard Antares represents a brilliant piece of design work by Naval Architect Bill Dixon and interior stylist Dick Young. Given design freedoms by their client meant that both young designers could take a clean piece of paper and allow it to yield to the whim of their hand. Only in this case the hands were masterfully guided by an experienced owner who unlike Ares' did not need conflict to bring out the best in people. Antares represents a singular vision whose creation is born out of teamwork.

This 156ft, high performance aluminum motor sailer, was the first Superyacht to combine the ability to perform well under sail with the high performance of a semi-displacement motor Yacht under power – a Yacht that can both run and fly.
Desiring both the feel of a large sailboat and the 25-knot speed of his current motor Yacht, MITseaAH’s owner inspired designers Liebowitz & Pritchard and naval Architect David Pedrick to think radically. Liebowitz sought a balance between sailing-Yacht lines and the volume needed for luxurious motor-Yacht accommodation and performance machinery, while Pedrick developed the naval architecture.

As Wolter Huisman reflects, 'Repeat orders are good for the yard and the customer. The 'camaraderie' and enjoyment of building Borkumriff III with the owner can be rekindled, resulting in an even closer working relationship." The owner, an experienced European yachtsman, who incidently races a 1938 Alden cutter in classic yacht racing events, wanted a larger yacht with the Alden touch of magic, and typically for such a considerate owner wanted to give the crew a much larger crew's quarters, no less than seven private cabins with showers and heads per two crew members.

Royal Huisman's latest launch has already turned heads in Valencia and Palma. Meteor was launched in May 2007, to the delight of her owners who had set a demanding brief for the yard and for naval architects Gerard Dijkstra and Partners in collaboration with John G. Alden.
During her maiden voyage, Meteor behaved outstandingly in the English Channel with winds averaging 35-40 knots and gusting up to 65 knots. At the 2007 Palma Superyacht Cup she was able to show her performance potential again. Her elegant flag-blue hull and white sail plan created a striking image as she sailed, close hauled, at an easy 15 knots.
