We decided to start again the CURLEW RAID, pretty day-boat of 6.00 ml, drew in 1997 by the cabinet of architecture Van Peteghem - Lauriot Prévost.
Esthetism and performances are with go for beautiful exits in family or a recluse.
Its construction is henceforth in infused sandwich vinylester which allows a considerable profit of weight and a very great quality of manufacture confers to him.
If the lines of origin are preserved, we redrew the roof.
Moreover, now, the bridge can be lathed in genuine teak.

The TAMATA 6 is a transportable sailboat of 6,00 ml to the retro look in the spirit of the 6 MJ, with a lathed bridge. It is built in strip planking red cedar according to a process which is clean for us. Its hull wood confers very good mechanical resistances to him as well as a good ageing. Its covered hull of a polyurethane paint does not require any maintenance. Its modern hull and his excellent weight ratio/surface of sail make a boat race of it.
Lastly, a very particular care is taken on the facility of its use, of its mâtage like its setting with water.

This attractive classic is a favorite yacht tender for trawlers and sailboats because it easily carries three as a rowboat and sails very well in sailing mode. Its finish complements the finest yachts.
The Minto is fitted with a “salty” standing lug sail rig, the preferred rig for a small row boat for a variety of reasons. The large sail area possible on a low mast reduces the heeling moment of the boat (tendency to tip) without sacrificing performance. This rig is fast and easy to set up. Unlike a “dipping lug” it can be tacked without lowering the yard and shifting it from one side of the mast to the other. The mast requires no stays or wires and simply lifts out to stow within the boat.
When the rudder is removed a small outboard can be carried on the transom and the boat handles very well under power.
It’s L.O.A. is 9’1” or 2.75m and B.O.A. 50” or 1.28m and weighs 160 lbs or 73k.
These boats are built to impeccable standards featuring a lapstrake style fiberglas hull, solid teak woodwork and bronze fittings with varnished Sitka spruce mast and spars and sails by U.K. sailmakers. Many are carried on trawler yachts and sailboats as tenders and sailing dinghies. They will handle choppy harbour conditions are built to last generations.

For 40 years the CL16 has been depended on by sailors who needed a stable dinghy with the options and support to enjoy casual racing. Many of those sailors who bought their first 16 many years ago still enjoy the boat today and look back on great memories. After this much time in the boat they cannot be wrong.
However, times have changed and the ever versatile 16 surges ahead with the latest refinements in sailing technology. In 2005 the CL16 began offering available KEVLAR reinforcing and CARBON FIBRE spar upgrade packages to compliment the planning and responsive hull. You can share the smile with up to 4 adults in comfort. Even 6 aboard is not uncommon. Take the family out for a relaxing Day sail or an adrenalin pumping afternoon.
Built to last and backed by a history that proves it. The 16 is the best sailing dinghy to share the moments with. When will your memories begin?
