"A real pleasure for those who recognise the worth of individual attention to detail. This is my choice for the real offshore cruiser / racer with benefits of both traditional style and modern comfort"
Yachting World
Stephen Jones designed the Starlight 39 with exceptionally beautiful lines to be a fast, safe, passage maker which would be a joy to sail. Stephen's successful design skills, coupled with the quality workmanship of the Rival Bowman craftsmen have developed one of the most successful yachts in her class.
The Starlight 39 Mk2 enjoys a host of enhancements which have been developed over the years with considerable input from owners who have sailed thousands of miles, both cruising and racing these fine craft.
Although fully crewed Starlight 39s have enjoyed considerable success on the racing circuit the majority of boats are used for cruising with the family and making the most of the luxurious accommodation and carefree sailing that these yachts provide.

The HR 40 was presented with an alternative classic layout at the Open House weekend in Ellös in August 2005. The new interior offers a wider saloon and headroom in the walk through to the aft cabin. The toilet room forward of the saloon has a separate shower. Floor is in one level throughout the boat and the galley is seagoing. The mast support comes in direct conjunction with the main bulkhead.
The HR 40 has won no less than four attractive awards:
- In January 2003 she was presented European Yacht of the Year in the largest category
- Overall winner in Boat of the Year in USA 2004
- Best Liveaboard cruising boat in USA 2004
- Sailboat of the Show in Stockholm November 2002

The latest Yacht from the new Centurion generation could not hide her origins :
Also designed by Berret / Racoupeau Y.D., her timeless hull and deck lines unmistakably evoke those of the Centurion 45s.
On the technical side, the hull is built using the infusion technique, the lead keel has a moderate bulb and the deck fittings are the best available. The Centurion 40s is also equipped with the Wauquiez patented transom platform fitted on the 45s.
In terms of accomodation, the Centurion 40s favours comfort above all : 2 double cabins, separate head and shower compartments, « L » shaped galley, and 2 real sea berths in the saloon. The quality of the cabinetwork inside is in the pure Wauquiez tradition, combining elegance and functionality.

We proudly introduce our new Bavaria 40cruiser featuring a new hull- and a new deck design, throughout. The new and modern design includes traditional and functional features, combined at its best.
The new Bavaria 40cruiser will be available as of January 2008 and it will be an easy and fun to sail cruising yacht without compromising any of the highly specified Bavaria standards.
Very striking is the new coachroof. With plenty of hatches and windows we achieved spacious and lighter cabins with an excellent ventilation.
The standard and easy to handle main-sheet-system, combined with 6 winches in the cockpit, offering pure sailing pleasure even for shorthanded sailing.
The cockpit with the transom hatch that lowers to the bathing platform and the large cockpit featuring plenty of room to work and to sit comfortably for relaxed sailing.
The high quality interior in real wood and the spacious and light salon create a comfortable and friendly atmosphere. The chart table has also a new design. The aft cabin and the enlarged head provide more storage space and improved ventilation.

From its large carbon wheel to the fine teak joinerwork and Ultra-leather or suede upholstery below, or simply by the smooth, graceful way it slides through the water, the new J/124 is every bit a sailing yacht… in the best sense of the word. One that is a joy to sail in all conditions with minimal crew and with rare need to employ the auxiliary diesel engine.
Yet, J/124’s focus on short-handed sailing qualities doesn’t preclude many days of offshore coastal sailing. Her narrow beam and low center-of-gravity are hallmarks of seaworthiness.
J/124 is a true escape…away from all the trappings and chores of home. Little-used amenities and complex cruising systems are discouraged where possible. But, all the important stuff is there: An adequate galley and chart table; the accessible top-loading icebox; 6 feet of headroom; three separate sleeping areas; a dodger for all-weather protection; and a cockpit made secure with 14” high backrests and seats that are long enough to sleep on.
The high-tech composite hull evolves from J’s that have dominated IRC competition in Europe over the past three years. The Hall Spars mast and ACC rudder are carbon fiber. Easiest configuration of all is the optional and removable Hoyt self-tacking jib boom with roller furling jib. If the joy of sailing is a priority…that feel of acceleration and response of a good boat…but you still want to enjoy some overnight comfort on those yacht club cruises, then this is the “J” for you.

For a long time yachtsmen had to make a choice : deserted coves or sailing close-hauled; the safety of aluminum or the performance obtained from composites. Faraway cruises required a sturdy boat, fast sailing demanded lightness …
The Allures 40 now offers exacting yachtsmen the best combination : a) an aluminum hull welded by the experts of Constructions Mécaniques de Normandie whose welding processes obtain the agreement of the top super-visory bodies; b) a composite superstructure which guarantees a lighter boat and improved insulation.
With her generous sailplan, her taut lines and her 2.60m. draft (center-board fully dropped), the Allures 40 can compare with any production keeler. Elegant and performant the Allures 40 is easy to manoeuvre even with a shorthanded crew; with her you will also be able to reach the remotest beaching places with her mere 0.95m. draft (centerboard fully lifted).

The Moody 41 Classic means the beginning of a new era. It progresses the range of the traditionally attractive aft cockpit yachts for those yachtsmen who appreciate classic yacht design elements. With its distinctive construction and features, such as a vertical stern and oval windows, the designer Bill Dixon and the interior designer Mark Tucker take the values of the past and transfer them into an extraordinary vision. This, combined with the individual options, such as two single berths, or the customisation potential the Moody 41 Classic becomes a very special yacht in its category. It is simply self-evident that this yacht has the best sailing qualities by using cutting edge production technologies and modern materials.

The North Sea 127 - Design Criterion
This vessel has been specifically designed for ocean cruising and can easily be handled by a crew of two. The sail areas have been broken down into manageable individual sails so that, for example, in the event of a sudden squall the mainsail can be dropped and the vessel sailed to windward if necessary under one or two headsails plus mizzen.
The North Sea 127 has a considerably higher displacement than the large majority of so called 'off shore' vessels built today. this results in a much easier motion in a short sea and provides greater stability and comfort below.
The first impression when stepping aboard this craft is one of strength and safety. The deep centre cockpit with radiused coamings provides shelter and comfort. The centre cockpit and hull form gives additional safety and comfort in a large following sea but is not made so restricted in size that eight people cannot sit in comfort.

The Incomparable Valiant 42
We invite you to discover why Valiants are the most proven and successful cruising sailboats ever made for shorthanded ocean passagemaking and circumnavigating, the standard by which all other cruising sailboats are measured.
Sailing advertisements and brochures work hard to create and enhance a sailboat's reputation. But Valiant Yachts have earned their reputation another way - the hard way - through more than a quarter century of successfully voyaging on every ocean of the world, in virtually every imaginable condition. However, for the cruising sailboat shopper, it is not easy to dig through manufacturers' hyperbole to find a boat's true measure of sucess. At Valiant, we believe all of the following (non-prioritized) comparative considerations are critical to an informed decision:
Construction Quality
Sailing Performance
Comfort & Safety at Sea
Passagemaking Experience
Ease of Handling
Owner Satisfaction
Manufactured exclusively at Valiant Yachts' North Texas Factory on the shores of Lake Texoma, each new Valiant is handcrafted on a semi-custom basis, specifically for her new owner(s), fully commissioned and sea trialed before being shipped to her home port.
How great is the Valiant 42? She delivers true sailing magic. Come to the Valiant Factory to "Discover Why" or ask any Valiant owner.

If you've spent some time browsing through our web site, you've probably gathered that the Morris philosophy isn't intended to break new ground as much as to establish the high ground. Morris yachts have always exemplified the ideals that define the world's best cruising yachts. In one sense the Morris 42 does it better than most, because it begins to provide many of the amenities and comforts of the truly large yacht, yet with smaller boat handling characteristics.
The Morris 42%u2019s ingenious use of space gives her the feel of a much larger yacht. She offers a luxurious two-stateroom layout with a spacious galley U-shaped galley. A head with shower stall is another welcome luxury on a yacht of this size.
On deck, like most Morris models, the 42 looks a lot like a classic yacht. There are real bulwarks to secure your footing, and sturdy hand holds on the cabin top. The cabin sides exhibit good-sized opening ports throughout, bringing in light and at anchor - the sea breezes.
The 42 cockpit is laid out for cruising, with very comfortable seating and a roomy cockpit locker. Visibility forward is exceptional. You can gain a good view past the bow without the need for a raised helm seat. And the broad expanse of smooth cabin top provides sure footing for doing a harbor furl of the mainsail.

The 42 is a classic looking yacht with moderate height to the topsides, a sweet sheerline, pleasing overhangs and a long, wide and low cabin top. The 42 is intended to add a performance element to other essential blue water attributes like directional stability, stiffness and good load carrying ability. Below the waterline she looks conservative, with a deep canoe body, long fin keel and a big skeg hung rudder.
Below decks you will find a very spacious open plan saloon with a large, beautifully finished saloon table, which seats eight comfortably with both leaves extended. There are storage lockers above and behind the port and starboard seating areas, with bookcases, bottle storage and lee cloths to port and starboard fitted as standard.
The forward facing chart table will easily take a folded admiralty chart, plus the usual aids to navigation and a customised ships control panel. Charts can be stowed in the chart drawer under the pilot berth.

The Sou'wester 42 carries with it the additional nomenclature of Mark II. It's an indication of just how successful, and how advanced, this particular iteration of Hinckley has become. Years of carefully considered design refinements have seen every inch of its 42' 9" LOA used to full effect. Its DualGuard hull of Kevlar/E-glass mat and carbon has emerged from the SCRIMP process as an immensely strong, yet remarkably lightweight structure - contributing in no small way to the invaluable sense of safety and security one feels upon stepping aboard a Hinckley yacht.
