She can be rowed, sailed or motored. Her incredible lightweight makes launching a pleasure and she is easily stowed on deck. The sailing rig components store flat inside the 3.53 m hull; fasten three shrouds and the mainsheet, hoist up the mainsail and jib, and you've got a fast, fun, stable sailing dinghy that will please even the most ardent and discriminating sailing enthusiast. If you have a long harbor to cross, a 2, 3, or 4 horsepower outboard will drive the Passagemaker to harbor speed limits and beyond. An electric outboard for fishing lakes will work great, too. Before the advent of the outboard motor, rowing/sailing skiffs were common on the US shoreline, and especially in the Chesapaeke Bay. They were used for crabbing, fishing, transporting goods, and enjoying summer evenings with a friend. Many local kids could row their dad's skiff long before they could ride a bicycle. - Speed FI-302: Displays ship speed, depth trip distance, odometer distance and average speed. It also functions as a stopwatch.
- Wind Data FI-303: Displays digital and graphical readouts of true and apparent wind speed and direction, own ship speed through water and over ground, trip distance, etc.
- Compass Data FI-304: Displays ship's heading relative to true north or magnetic north. A fluxgate or Satellite Compass may be used to feed heading information to the FI-304. Digital readouts can also be displayed with a simplified compass rose.
- Multi XL FI-305: Facilitates easy monitoring of all the data available in the network with large alphanumeric characters. Please note that, to operate the FI-305, Multi Control instrument FI-301 is required within the network.
- Wind Angle FI-306: Displays true or apparent wind direction with the zones in red and green.
- Steer Pilot FI-307: Relays the data in the server to the network, enabling you to quickly set an exact course to steer towards your destination.

- Speed Trim FI-308: Indicates differences in speed from the last trimming. Assisted by the Wind Data FI-303, the FI-308 indicates the changes in ship speed, SOG, true/apparent wind speed in percentage.
- Rudder Angle FI-309: Working in collaboration with an autopilot NAVPilot 500, the FI-309 can be used to give precise rudder angle.
